Bought this bottle for the gym and travel. Insulation is fantastic -- kept cold water cold with no ice even after 4 hours of sitting in a hot vehicle in a Mississippi summer. It has difficulty fitting inside most car cup holders, but at the 40oz size, that's largely to be expected. The paracord is threaded through a ring that sits beneath the bottom of the cap. The ring can be pulled off, but there is no way to remove the paracord from the ring without damaging said ring. The only issue I've had with it is that the rubber gasket inside the screw-top spout cover does not fit very well and can occasionally fall right out as you open it. I have to exercise caution whenever I open it so that it doesn't fall onto the floor and potentially get lost. It just doesn't stay in snugly, even when you push it in and bear down on it. It doesn't happen enough for me to dock a star for it considering its fantastic thermal performance, but still annoying.

The size is great for teens playing sports and water stays cool all day. There doesn't appear to be any way to remove the lanyard and metal clip from the bottle without cutting it off completely. This makes it a bit of a pain to wash but not a deal breaker.

Great water bottle that keeps drinks cold or hot all day! Love that you can remove the lid for filling and a smaller opening to drink from. Cap is attached so you won’t lose it. My husband is a veteran and loved the red, white and blue bottle.

I bought this one and a different brand to try out. Wife and I were replacing our water bottles that could not hold ice for more than couple hours. Started well I used while at an outdoor event for my job and it kept ice for 8 hours in 95 degree heat. Now since then, lucky if it keeps ice for 4 hours now. Today the seal for the pour spout came out, I put it back in, but keeps showing up on the spout when I open it. Maybe I got a bad one, but I won’t return it as I’ve used it daily. But I will be thinking of buying another brand soon.
