It was very easy to pop off the old plate and pop in the new plate. It took less than two minutes and I was able to do it without the provided tool for prying off the original plate. The hardest part is lining up the top of the plate with the touchpad (it doesn’t look like it should fit but does). It also feels very similar to the original trim plate but give the controller a completely new look. ... show more

The pry tool included for the kit is too thick to fit between the face plate and shell holding it together. Causing it to slip and scratch/scuff the controller. Not super noticable but kinda sad considering my controller was intact before. Just use a round blade exacto knife for that initial pry. Once you got the face plate to pop up on that corner, you can use the provided tool. If the tool worked better and didnt cause damage this would be a 5 star item. ... show more

Wow talk about an easy pop-off, pop-on custom piece SUPER easy and the intall tool makes it easier. Note, it cones with extra rungs but you don't even have to swap them out if you don't want to See pics!
