Prior to buying this set of sheets, I tried just the pillow cases. I had a more expensive set of Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow cases, but every night I had to flip the pillow because it was too warm even when the room was cool. I bought the pillow cases for both my husband and myself, and we both saw an immediate improvement in our Samsung watch sleep scores. The pillow cases were so soft and I no longer woke up during the night with my head being too warm. The sheets I had been using were supposed to be for thick mattresses, and fit at first. I have a 12 inch mattress, and after a few washings, these sheets wouldn't stay on one corner of the mattress. There was no way I could stretch it over all four corners. Since I was so happy with the pillow cases of this brand, I decided to buy the sheet set. As I normally do, I washed and dried the set before using them. The sheets are every bit as soft and comfortable as the pillow cases, and they were wrinkle free with absolutely no pilling after washing. Putting them on my 12 inch mattress was a breeze. They fit over all the corners and even tucked in on all sides. The sheets are every bit as soft and comfortable as the pillow cases I had bought previously. Since I put them on my bed when warm weather was coming, I put away some of the blankets and comforters I had on my bed for the winter. I found that these sheets, are not quite as warm as my previous heavier sheets. For me this is a good thing as I used to wake up in the night sweating with my PJ's stuck to me. When I pushed down the covers, I would be freezing because my PJ's were wet. Since my bedroom is usually cool, I put some of the blankets back on my bed, but now I don't wake up sweating. Now I can use my blankets without sweating and having to push them to the bottom of the bed during the night, and my sleep score, measured by my Samsung watch, is consistently 10 or more points higher than it was before using these sheets. If you tend to sleep warm, these sheets would be perfect for you. At this point, I very much prefer these sheets over the stiffer, heavier Egyptian cotton sheets that don't breath. I should also mention that I bought the burgundy color that is a true burgundy - not red. UPDATE 7/25/22: I have been using these sheets for almost 1 1/2 years, and they have been washed and dried multiple times. They still look and feel as good as the first time I used them. They have not pilled or shrunk, and still fit on my bed as well as they did when they were new. Although I bought the set for a double bed, the pillow cases are large enough to fit the queen sized pillows I have, and are long enough the enveloping flap on the ends of them is really not needed. I still love this set of sheets, and will likely buy another set. UPDATE 08/10/23: I have been using this set of sheets for about 2 1/2 years, I and I still love them. I have been using only this one set of sheets. I take them off my bed, machine wash and dry them, and put them back on. They have not shrunk, pilled, or faded, and look as good as the day I bought them. I like these so much better than cotton sheets I have had in the past, including Egyptian cotton. They are so soft, not stiff at all. I decided to buy another set in case they stop selling them and thought I would update my review while I was here. I hope this review was helpful for you. Finally found a set of sheets that fit my mattress. So hard to do nowadays. Deep pocket up to 20" fitted will usually fit but then the top flat sheet is too small width wise to tuck in. However, this set is great for sizing. Both fitted and flat sheets work for my mattress. Didn't shrink after washing and drying either. The biggest issue I have is the quality. They are soooooo thin that it feels like they will rip while putting them on the mattress. I don't anticipate very long use after washing/drying multiple times. They definitely feel like they are so worn down and from 40 yrs ago, they actually feel like our Vintage ET sheets. Not rough or uncomfortable just ridiculously thin. Giving 4 stars because of the quality/how thin they are. ETA- I'm shocked by how comfy these sheets are. When I washed and then put on they felt so thin I was worried BUT they are very soft, comfy, and cool. We dont get too hot with them which is a huge plus. Changed to 5 stars for being impressed after actually using. The Sizing is exceptional, I am beyond happy that they actually fit my mattress. You have no idea how many sheets I have gotten since buying this mattress just to try and find a flat sheet that actually works with the deep pocket fitted sheet. Price is fair but should be cheaper due to quality of them. Should note we only received 2 pillowcases and ad states 4

Must be from men's hair... IDEA: So took a new 3-blade safety razor of wife's and trimmed-off every-PILL in straight swaths, while pulling sheet tight.... All PILLS tumbled off with 2 applications... Followed-up twice with fresh Lint Roller and gone.... Other than that, real easy to make bed, fit corners nice..... Soft, smooth, light-weight and cool for Florida. Color has stayed solid, happy with low price, and wide choice of colors.... Haven't used our $275. Boll & Branch sheets since!

I bought another set of bamboo sheets because I love the cooling effects of bamboo. They slipped around too much and started wearing and developing pils where my feet rubbed. I ordered these to replace them and they are perfect. They are super soft, but definitely better quality. They don't slide around so I'm not constantly pulling them out, and they aren't super thin like the others. They are cooling just as I hoped. I will probably buy another set. Also, I love that they came with 4 pillowcases instead of just 2.
