Prior to buying this set of sheets, I tried just the pillow cases. I had a more expensive set of Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow cases, but every night I had to flip the pillow because it was too warm even when the room was cool. I bought the pillow cases for both my husband and myself, and we both saw an immediate improvement in our Samsung watch sleep scores. The pillow cases were so soft and I no longer woke up during the night with my head being too warm. The sheets I had been using were supposed to be for thick mattresses, and fit at first. I have a 12 inch mattress, and after a few washings, these sheets wouldn't stay on one corner of the mattress. There was no way I could stretch it over all four corners. Since I was so happy with the pillow cases of this brand, I decided to buy the sheet set. As I normally do, I washed and dried the set before using them. The sheets are every bit as soft and comfortable as the pillow cases, and they were wrinkle free with absolutely no pilling after washing. Putting them on my 12 inch mattress was a breeze. They fit over all the corners and even tucked in on all sides. The sheets are every bit as soft and comfortable as the pillow cases I had bought previously. Since I put them on my bed when warm weather was coming, I put away some of the blankets and comforters I had on my bed for the winter. I found that these sheets, are not quite as warm as my previous heavier sheets. For me this is a good thing as I used to wake up in the night sweating with my PJ's stuck to me. When I pushed down the covers, I would be freezing because my PJ's were wet. Since my bedroom is usually cool, I put some of the blankets back on my bed, but now I don't wake up sweating. Now I can use my blankets without sweating and having to push them to the bottom of the bed during the night, and my sleep score, measured by my Samsung watch, is consistently 10 or more points higher than it was before using these sheets. If you tend to sleep warm, these sheets would be perfect for you. At this point, I very much prefer these sheets over the stiffer, heavier Egyptian cotton sheets that don't breath. I should also mention that I bought the burgundy color that is a true burgundy - not red. UPDATE 7/25/22: I have been using these sheets for almost 1 1/2 years, and they have been washed and dried multiple times. They still look and feel as good as the first time I used them. They have not pilled or shrunk, and still fit on my bed as well as they did when they were new. Although I bought the set for a double bed, the pillow cases are large enough to fit the queen sized pillows I have, and are long enough the enveloping flap on the ends of them is really not needed. Perfect sheet set for Intex queen size extra tall guest air bed (including a foam topper). We love getting 4 pillow cases so our guests can have extra pillows. This combination worked so well we purchased an extra air bed, sheet/pillow set and foam topper for more guests and sheets for ourselves. We have a super deep mattress and have had a terrible time getting sheets to stay on the mattress. These are the first sheets that have stayed on our mattress without slipping off at all. I liked the first ones so much I bought another set. They are super soft and hold up well to dogs scratching at the sheets. The colors are beautiful. I rarely write reviews, unless it’s extremely awful or absolutely amazing! These sheets are AMAZING! I don’t think a sheet set should be considered amazing just for fitting, like they are supposed to but if you’ve had issues like we have, then you get it! I have purchased so many sheet sets claiming to fit our king size plush mattress but they haven’t, until today! My husband never even knew there was an issue because for 7 years I have always given him the perfect corners that never lift off. He complained many times that I bought too many sheets so recently I gave him the annoying side of the corners and it wasn’t long before he started to complain. I loved the sheets - they are soft, comfortable, and have really deep pockets so work for large mattresses. So why didn't I give these sheets 5 stars? They shed a lot. After the first wash I had a lot of lint in the dryer. As I used them I had lint on the bed and the floor. After 3 weeks of use (and wash) I still had some lint. I bought a set on Prime Day because they said the pocket would go up to 24 in. Our mattresses on the split king adjustable bed are 22in and it is hard to find deep pocket sheets that work for not only the depth but also for the bed when it is raised. We used straps that last a day or two then popped off. Found another brand that were ok but the material was rough. These fit without any straps and are soft. Ended up purchasing a 2nd set. One of the most frustrating things is buying an expensive thick mattress just to not be able to find sheets that will not stay on through the night. Well these didn’t either. My mattress is 18 inches and these were supposed to fit an 18 inch mattress. Well, they don’t. Every morning I find both corners have pulled up and we are sleeping on the mattress pad I stead of the sheets. We are not crazy sleepers, they just don’t stay fastened on the corners and spring up with any tension tugging at them.
