I bought a $400 monos check in and took it to South America on a three week sojourn across the continent. After the first of many flights, it was pretty banged up, and by the time I got back to Chicago, it was in pretty bad shape, as far as the exterior. So I had been thinking of ways not to pay for the flimsy $50 protector Monos sells on its site because I like the suitcase, but am ashamed of how it looks now and wanted a way to keep it from getting more banged up. One day I was in the airport and saw one of these lycra-esque covers and it seemed like a good idea. I recently took the Monos suitcase, now armed with this cover, on a two week journey through Europe. It really barely fit over the luggage, but I guess that's the way it should be so that there's no slack for it to snag on. I was still concerned because I could barely fasten it and I was worried that a lot of jostling would pop the zipper, rendering the cover useless. Suffice it to say, it performed beautifully. It was rugged, served its intended purpose, and looks kind of cool. Would buy again.

I was pleasantly surprised that the material was so nice. Stretch poly. The top and side pockets were a tad off but can’t expect a universal fitting for all bags. I purchased 24” for my 24 “ luggage. The colors are vibrant but material is not see thru. I bought to cover an existing piece of luggage that has lots of wear and tear. Now I can cover ugly spots and identify my bag easily. Haven’t tested out yet but I really like it and would definitely buy another.

Bought them for our new suitcases, work great. They stretch nicely, had no problem with zipper closure, protected our new investment from scratch and stains. What I appreciate the most was that at end of our trip, we bought a little more than expected and suitcases were full, had to expand the suitcase and still had no issues with the covers, continue to fit well. Recommend

I love this for flying. Once I got my suitcase back at airport and only a belt was holding it together. Suitcase was completely destroyed. This would keep my things inside.

The Suitcase Protector is stylish and practical. I’ve used it on several trips now, and it has done an excellent job of protecting my suitcase from scratches, and dirt. The stretchy material fits snugly over my suitcase. Despite the tight fit, it doesn’t feel like it will tear or stretch out too much over time, as the fabric is durable yet flexible. Pros: Protects luggage from scratches and dirt Sleek black and white polygon design makes it easy to identify Cons: May not fit over extremely large or bulky suitcases - I expanded my suitcase to allow for more room and when it arrived at baggage claim, the zipper came undone and it was bunched at the top Recommendation: maybe add a feature to "lock" the zipper in place to prevent it from unzipping automatically

Okay so I don’t usually write long reviews however this was one of the hardest purchases I ever made and I’ll tell you why. I looked on Amazon for about 2 weeks straight! I mean I searched for hours and hours because I’m very particular about the design type and I pretty much couldn’t find one that would 1) fit the style of my suitcase and 2) provide a cool design but subtle enough not be an eye sore. Anyhow, I have all samsonite suitcases set and the recently I bought IT suitcase set and the top handle is right in front of the pull handle. It’s not the standard design of the old school suitcase. This cover is not the thickest because I found other thicker covers however it has great elasticity and the XL fits my blue samsonite 31” (diagonal) suitcase very snug. It’s not loose however it wasn’t overly stretched out. The small cover definitely fits the carry on size for the samsonite brand and the IT travel brand as well. However it’s not a tight fit. There is a bit of room however it looks snuck and not loose. I choose this design because it displays many different popular places in the world and the colors and patterns are not hard on the eyes. It’s not a childish design. It’s pretty cute. I am a plain Jane and prefer a solid cover however I want to be able to identify my suitcase all while protecting it from scratches & dirt. I have the hard shell case and it’s very Durable however I hate how dirty my suitcase looks. I mostly use clorox wipes to wipe it down but this is a better option. I love the big cut out at the top to provide the access to the pull handle instead of the other cover that provide two separate holes at the top. I see other reviews where it ripped after first use but these airline baggage handlers don’t handle bags with much care. The one downside is that the side handle on my suitcases are not centered and the invisible opening is at the center. Either way I’m ok with it because at least I can open it to access that particular handle. Everything can’t be perfect. I think it does the job. Get it! I will update it with any new additional info.

I read so many reviews before choosing a product, but when the brand of the suitcase or size is not mentioned it doesn’t help. This is for my Away regular size carryon suitcase. Exterior measurements of my suitcase: 21.7" x 14.4" x 9" The color is very vibrant and the material is thin and silk texture. It slid over the top very well with access to my top handle. There is a zipper on the side to access the side handle but would need to pull the material to the side to access it. 4 stars because I have not used it yet and because it doesn’t cover the entire bottom on the sides. Folds up easily for storing and doesn’t take up much space. I purchased it for the bus ride after the plane to keep my new (and gawd did I really just spend that much money on a suitcase) piece clean.
