I accidentally ordered one size too large of a cover for the crate I have, which is off by a few inches on either side. That’s my fault. The baggy walls seem to have lent themselves to being easily snagged through the wires by my pup. After a couple nights, the sides are intact and in decent shape, but the top zippered hole for carrying handle access didn’t fare well. I figured I’d leave it unzipped so a little light can get in for her. She took it as a challenge and absolutely destroyed the zipper path, rendering it non-functional. I’m glad she didn’t get enough of it to be a choking hazard, but I was still really bummed to see that a feature of the product was now unusable. Most of this was probably my fault, and I guess the moral of the story is “measure twice.” You’ll probably have a much better time than me if you buy a snug cover.

Love this cover and love the fact that it has zippers all over for the sides. I just wish it had an actual window on top. What's there is more of a slit which doesn't really allow for much airflow. I ended up shoving a small personal fan into the slit because I was worried about my pup. It does have a front window, but at the time my guy needed to be completely covered. In hindsight I should have gotten Obsidian back which looks like it has a large flap on top. Now I have most of the flaps open which is great that this is an option with this cover rather then having to get another one. Overall pleased. Fit perfectly on my 42' wire crate.

I've used crates for my pups for years and never needed a cover but my most recent pup needs her privacy and rest time otherwise she is very cranky! I board dogs often and bought one of these specifically for my girl so that she's not distracted by other dogs walking around the kennel and can get her private time and rest properly when she naps. It's the best thing! She loves it, I like how it looks with the furniture in the house too. The specific color I got has velcro and it works just fine. If I get another I'll probably buy the black one with zippers because I think she'd love the darkness. Hey, every dog is different so if your dog needs that xtra privacy & can't settle when there's too much going on around them this is a great deal. I also want to say the material is great, I can tell it's going to be real easy to clean when it's time or if something spills on it.

Originally hung a sheet over dog crate first few days. After doing some research, needed this. The sheet made crate too warm and also allowed light. This is much more breathable and provides the darkness in which he sleeps way longer !

This was a great purchase for my dogs kennel! He is scared of everything and I am trying to get him to use his kennel as a “safe space” to go to calm down. This helped make it more cozy and secluded and it also made it to where his kennel does not look like an eye sore in my house! Would recommend this product!

I bought the 48" fully intending to use it under conditions that I didn't expect it to hold up under, but it did. First, it did not smell as others indicated when I opened it. We put it on the cage and it was a little loose, but wasn't too bad. We then used it for a few weeks traveling with our German Shepherd in the bed of our truck. It withstood driving at 70 mph, dog stayed very dry during a rain storm. We did travel with the front flap up, and it withstood that. No issues with the elastic securing it to the cage under those conditions. The cover even held up under two severe hail storms (dog not in cage at the time). Got back home to find just a few small holes from rubbing on the cage where our tie-downs where securing the cage. Absolutely exceeded expecations. Note: our dog is not a chewer, so didn't have to test it that way.

Absolutely worth the money. This was recommended to me by a family member because my dogs dander and dust was collecting in the room she’s in now. So this cover keeps the dust and dander way down and we can easily take it off and spray it out. We’re allergic to dog dander so it’s been nice to keep that in check. But it also really helps our dog feel safe because it keeps her kennel dark and she has a lot of anxiety about people and this has helped her to feel more secure. And she hasn’t been barking nearly as much as she used to.
