It fit perfectly. It was simple to install. My old one was a pain to remove but once it was out it was easy to install the new one. The only thing I had a problem with was the rubber hangers, it was a little tough getting them to go on the hooks but over all, easy to install.

    • Saved money - it works.
It's definitely not an exact fit, but I made it work. You'll need a 4" C-clamp to make the 2 1/2" fastening clamp fit bc it's so snug that it flexes out. I used a reciprocating saw to cut the rusted bolts, pipes, and hangers off. Use a sharpie to mark where the pipes connect so you know you're fully connected. Kit doesn't come with bolts for connecting the muffler, so I bought 2 hefty hex bolts, lock washers, nuts ($5.66). On my 2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the mid-pipe hanger wasn't right - several inches too short, but the tail pipe was good. Problem I had was the tail pipe was blowing right into the rear bumper - the pipe isn't aligned right and is too short. Most of the job is getting the rusty junk off and then doing some mods with the hanger and extending the tailpipe. Sound is OEM. Saved money. ... show more

2007 Commander. Great for the price. Direct fit and bolted right up. Kit doesn’t include new flange bolts. Rear hanger was not a direct fit and needed a little modification. I would surely buy it again.

Muffler and pipes fit without problems. The clamps supplied with kit were to small to go over pipes. Had to buy clamps at local auto store.

    • Almost correct
It was great to install vs the 1 piece tailpipe section I took off my 09 Grand Cherokee. The front hanger is slightly short but was able to use the original boot to hold it. I did not need the rubber boots that came with it. 1 of the clamps was too small for the connection of the 2 tail pipe pieces. It actually seemed like the pipe was stretched too much. I just went and got a 2 ¾ U clamp on my own and that went on great. The male part of the muffle flange seemed slightly bigger than I needed but I couldn't hear any leaks after testing it all together so for now it's a decently good product since the same exact thing from an auto parts website was more expensive and cost the same in shipping as for the part. ... show more

    • This thing is amazingly quiet!!
For a little over half a year my 2006 grand Cherokee with the 4.7 v8 had no muffler at all and installing this made it so quiet my garage door opener was louder! definitely order two 2.5" u bolt exhaust clamps as the ones that come with it are too small, but all the pieces were bent perfectly and lines up no problem, definitely a 5 star product at a wonderful price. ... show more
