Really impressed with this bedspread. I’m a quilter so I can say for certain that this is definitely not a quilt because what looks like stitching is actually a heat pressed marking but for the price I wouldn’t expect a true quilt. That being said, I LOVE this color, pattern and the softness of the blanket. Ordered for a guest/day bed in my craft room and now I’m considering buying another one for my own bed. I've been on what seems to be an endless search for high-quality, reasonably priced, beautiful bedding, for our master bedroom. We've had blue bedding for years, and I just hated it in our new home, which has builder-grade, neutral paint. I've wanted to paint the whole house white, but it's just too expensive. So the next best thing was to switch out our bedding, which was definitely in need of a refresh, anyway. We live in central Texas, so I was looking for lighter weight bedspreads or comforters, preferably something that would layer well, as either the top layer, or a middle layer in colder parts of the year. When I saw this set, which includes a spread and two shams, I knew immediately I wanted it. I chose the birch beige, which I recognize is a very safe and definitely neutral color, but it works perfectly with a more colorful top spread, for a layered look that I love. The set is available in 9 different colors! They are all beautiful and fresh (I'm looking at you, Blush Pink and Sage Green!), with something that will appeal to everyone from a small child to a senior adult. The "quilting" is not sewn, but machine embossed, which I actually prefer. The sewn one might look a little too dated, and stitches are always prone to fraying, pulling, or just breaking. This machine embossed look gives it a slightly more modern aesthetic, which I also prefer. We needed the king size, and at this price point ($27.99, as of this writing), it is an incredible value! It's hard to find even a lightweight king size blanket at this price, much less a spread and two king shams. And let me just talk about the softness...it is so soft! I machine washed and dried it before using, which I highly recommend doing. It came out of the dryer feeling so ultra-soft, I just wanted to curl up in it! It also came out completely wrinkle-free. My photo shows it on our bed, as an additional layer to our patterned spread, and I absolutely love how it looks, and how it feels. It could just as easily be the middle layer, which the patterned fabric on top. Shoot, at this price, I may just order the white one, too, and use it as a bottom layer all year long. In short, I love it!

I'm so happy with this quilt, I can't tell you. I live in Florida, and even with the air on, sometimes it's really hot in our bedroom. I can't possibly sleep with a comforter, even in summer. I tried it this year as an experiment, but I was just uncomfortable and I really didn't sleep well at all. But I slept with this quilt last night. What a dream! Yes, I had dreams, but this quilt is so one of them. It's thin, so it's very light on your skin. That's important to me. I don't like to be weighted down when I'm trying to sleep. Do you? No, then... Consider that this quilt is not only highly utilitarian, but also quite lovely. The geometric pattern is really great looking in terms of design and the shams are nice and plush. I'm so happy I got this! Thank you.

First, it is lightweight. It’s thin. But it is soft, and pretty and actually does feel like it will provide some coziness in the summer. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was very happy when I opened this and put it on my king size bed. The pillow shams are nice too! The stitching is beautiful. If you’re looking for a very pretty, lightweight, kinda cozy coverlet this is for you! I definitely recommend!

MY RATING SCALE: * I can’t believe this product/item is even available for sale on Amazon. There are so many issues with it that I can’t recommend it to anyone. Do not purchase. ** Product/item doesn’t meet my expectations. I wish I would’ve passed on ordering it. I certainly wouldn’t order it again. There are multiple issues and I can not recommend it. Potential buyers order at your own discretion. *** An average item/product. I like it, I might or might not reorder it, and if I recommend it, it’s with stipulations. There are one or more issues with the product/item, but nothing so major that the product isn’t useful. **** A good product/item. I like it, I’d likely reorder it, and I recommend it. In my opinion it has a minor issue, but nothing I can’t overlook. ***** A GREAT product/item. I love it…I’d definitely reorder it and I highly recommend it! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. I ordered the Exclusivo Mezcal king quilt bedding set to use as an alternate set on our bed. The ‘quilted’ design and the blue color is represented well in the listing. The quilting is not stitched, but done by a heat pressed technology, which leaves a bit of a shiny, embossed look in the quilted lines. I tried to capture them in my photos, but it doesn’t show real well. The embossed quilting doesn’t look bad, but some may want to know when looking at it up close, it doesn’t look thread stitched quilted pattern would. The bedspread and shams are of good quality in the fabric used, as well as in the construction of the three pieces. As the description states, it is lightweight, so it doesn’t provide a lot of warmth. But, that’s exactly what I was hoping for, as I tend to get warm at night. We have a split king adjustable bed with a 16” mattress, and the bedspread is about 3 inches short of covering the mattress on each side. I do wish it was a little bit longer…at least long enough to cover a deep mattress set. Therefore, I would suggest if you have a Queen or smaller bed, you may want to order the next size up if you want it to hang down to the floor as pictured in the listing, or to at least have it hang down past the top mattress. I always launder new items prior to using or wearing them, and this washed and dried beautifully. Overall, I am pleased with this lightweight Exclusivo Mezcal bedding set and would order it again.
