Several of the one-star reviewers claim this quilt is thin and flimsy. Seriously? I think it's the perfect weight. If anything, it's thicker than I expected. It feels soothingly soft to the touch. And it seems to be durably made. For the money, it's an excellent value. Then there's the color. I opted for the Teal, and it's incredibly rich and vivid -- jewel-like in its brilliance. I bought it for the guest room in our sons' apartment, which is all sterile greys and whites; it needs all the color it can get. This should do the trick!

I bought this as a summer bedspread and it has not disappointed. Looks classy and light weight. Perfect for warm nights. I might keep it for the winter and just put a blanket underneath. I have washed it twice without problems. I like the fact I can wash it in my washer and not have to go to the laundry mat to use the large washers. I bought a king size for my king bed. Perfect in length.
