I've been on what seems to be an endless search for high-quality, reasonably priced, beautiful bedding, for our master bedroom. We've had blue bedding for years, and I just hated it in our new home, which has builder-grade, neutral paint. I've wanted to paint the whole house white, but it's just too expensive. So the next best thing was to switch out our bedding, which was definitely in need of a refresh, anyway. We live in central Texas, so I was looking for lighter weight bedspreads or comforters, preferably something that would layer well, as either the top layer, or a middle layer in colder parts of the year. When I saw this set, which includes a spread and two shams, I knew immediately I wanted it. I chose the birch beige, which I recognize is a very safe and definitely neutral color, but it works perfectly with a more colorful top spread, for a layered look that I love. The set is available in 9 different colors! They are all beautiful and fresh (I'm looking at you, Blush Pink and Sage Green!), with something that will appeal to everyone from a small child to a senior adult. The "quilting" is not sewn, but machine embossed, which I actually prefer. The sewn one might look a little too dated, and stitches are always prone to fraying, pulling, or just breaking. This machine embossed look gives it a slightly more modern aesthetic, which I also prefer. We needed the king size, and at this price point ($27.99, as of this writing), it is an incredible value! It's hard to find even a lightweight king size blanket at this price, much less a spread and two king shams. And let me just talk about the softness...it is so soft! I machine washed and dried it before using, which I highly recommend doing. It came out of the dryer feeling so ultra-soft, I just wanted to curl up in it! It also came out completely wrinkle-free. My photo shows it on our bed, as an additional layer to our patterned spread, and I absolutely love how it looks, and how it feels. It could just as easily be the middle layer, which the patterned fabric on top. Shoot, at this price, I may just order the white one, too, and use it as a bottom layer all year long. In short, I love it!

We really like this color, it's one of our favorites to decorate with and really pops against white sheets. We were worried it would be too Halloween of a color but it leans a little more rusty/coral in person (I wouldn't say burnt just because it's a little too light and not red enough for that description) and I anticipate will settle even less pumpkin as it's used/washed. The quilt and shams are lightweight, you won't find padding in this, but we live in Miami so this is good for us. The pattern is nice, it's like a herringbone angled quilt, so it looks more modern than some other quilts with more elderly vibes. We're really happy with it and at the price, for a king size set, you can't beat it.

This has just enough padding and stitching design to give it interest and style that looks great on my bed. It is very lightweight and perfect for my South Florida bedroom which I keep at 72 degrees and with a ceiling fan because I am a hot sleeper. It was breathable and kept me at the perfect temperature. It is a nice size with enough overage to comfortably tuck in on all sides if so desired. This is also important when you sleep with a French bulldog with a knack for stealing all the covers somehow. It looks black in some light and charcoal grey in other light. Overall, I am happy with this cover.

This lightweight bed coverlet is perfect for hot months or warm houses. It launders very well and is well made. It creates a very attractive bed. No wrinkles - very smooth and sleek. Both the quilt and the sham are generously sized. The dark green is a dark olive green, not bright at all.

Nice fiberfill coverlet with two pillow shams. The dark green color is very attractive, as is the pattern that the "quilting" makes (I use quotes because no thread was used to "quilt" the fabric). The microfiber feels very nice, and will undoubtedly feel even better after repeated washings; as is my habit, it's being washed right now before using it for the first time. I'm not sure how warm it will be, but I prefer several thin layers to a single heavy blanket, anyway.
