So thankful for these curtains and their look! My daughters’ room was too dark with the solid pink curtains we originally had (also complete blackout curtains). These curtains didn't make the room feel like a cave because of the ombré/gradient design! They block out enough light without making the room too dark. So thankful for this purchase. I am in love with these curtains! The white to pink ombré is beautiful. They have pockets for the curtain rod to slide though on the back which helps the curtains lay nicely when not closed. I would consider them light blocking, not blackout. Good value for the money.

These are beautiful curtains, but definitely not blackout as described in the ad - hence the 4 star rating. They are more like light filtering, however these are not see-through at all. The white silky backing fabric gives kind of a soft glowing effect as the sun shines through (others have posted pics showing this) which is actually pretty. But if you need blackout so as not have the sun wake you then you should not get these. I think I will keep them as they appear well made and I like the flowiness and gradient look, and it doesn't bother me having the sun showing through (I get up at 6am anyway, lol). ... show more

The curtains are pretty and easy to install, but they do nothing to block light from coming in. If you’re looking for room darkening curtains, these aren’t it.
