UPDATE: It’s been 5 years since I bought my first sets of these and made my first review. They held up really well over the years with me only taking them down to wash maybe 5 times over the past 5 years of owning them. They wash well, don’t mildew and handle pets pretty well. After 5 years of having them up year round, they became a bit tattered & torn, which is to be expected given the hot & humid conditions here and we now have 2 dogs. I was so impressed that I bought more in another color when I updated my patio earlier this year. These are seafoam, though in this pic they give more light teal but they are truly seafoam IRL. They block out some light but not so much that it darkens the space, it actually feels a tad bit cooler than when I had the lighter colored version of these. Once again, the quality is great, they are soft yet durable. I will buy again when I update my patio again in 5 years or so. FIRST REVIEW:Based on the reviews I knew I’d like them, what I expect was to love them. The weight is perfect, the natural color is perfect... they look to be of a high quality. I was concerned about the length being too short but they were perfect... anything skimming the ground would get dirty easily & require more cleaning, especially with my pooch! ... show more

These panels do the job for blocking blinding morning sun on our porch but they look better and more robust in product photos. They came so wrinkled. I tried steaming them, putting a panel in the dryer with a wet towel and finally ironing them which worked best. It was a big job to iron 8 panels. They are quite large in size and really want to hold onto the wrinkles so it was about 30 minutes per panel. And even when you think you got all the noticeable wrinkles, well there’s another one!     • 7 Years Later: Still Hanging On (Literally and Figuratively)

It’s 2025, and I bought these patio curtains way back in 2018. That’s seven years of full, blistering sun exposure—and yet somehow, the Taupe color still looks great. Meanwhile, I age like an overripe banana in comparison. I ordered six panels for our patio, which gets sun for most of the day. They’re sturdy, thick, and very privacy-friendly. When I first got them, I did have to get them shortened, and I noticed the lengths varied just slightly—nothing dramatic, but enough to make a perfectionist’s eye twitch. Once hemmed, they looked sleek and polished. The true test has been time. These things have been out there battling UV rays and summer storms like little fabric warriors. No fading, no fraying. We only recently had to replace the curtain rod—not the curtains—because supporting six heavyweight champs for seven years finally did the rod in. Took the curtains down to clean them (hence why I'm back on this product page looking for washing instructions like a digital archaeologist), and figured I owed them a glowing review. Only caveat? Wind. These curtains are hefty, yes, but also act like giant wind sails. No airflow means when the breeze hits, they do their best impression of interpretive dance. Tie them back when not in use, or prepare for an outdoor performance. Bottom line: ✔ No fading ✔ Still strong ✔ Slightly dramatic in the wind ✔ Outlasted the rod ✔ Might outlast me 5 stars. They are not the highest option for black out, but work to screen out the view. We are using for the outside of a sliding glass door in order to keep the dog from shaking off water after being in the pool, and splattering water all over, works great. ... show more
