The media could not be loaded. Okay, the instructions are terrible. It's actually not that difficult to put this together, but the instructions need to be more clear and better part design. They have Part "A" screwed onto the "B" already, which is annoying because they need to be separated anyway. You need to insert the circular Part "A" screw inside first and try to align with the B screw; this could be a little challenging and annoying - needs better designing here. Also, you need to make sure you don't mess up, like I did, with putting the black sides in the correct orientation. I didn't realize the black part had a top and bottom side; make sure the board with the screw hole is facing down along with the black feet sides. I didn't realize which one was top/bottom (it has rubber feet on it) when putting it together, so now I have the board reversed and have the ugly holes exposed. So annoying. I'm not going to start over, so I just left it like that. In terms of storage/usesful/saving space/organizing, it is nice.

When I ordered this shelf set, I did notice in the listing that it's made out of bamboo, so I was not expecting a heavy duty shelf unit. We're using this in my stepson's room. He has a bunch of those collectible Funko Pop figures that were just laying all over his bedroom. This shelf set is a great solution to give him a place to display his collection. Being lightweight collectibles, this shelf works out just fine for our intended use. He can stack up his Funko's and keep them all organized in their display boxes, and they don't overextend the bookcase. The reason for my subtraction of one star is because the hardware to assemble the bookcase was just strewn about in the box and the screw and turnbuckle configuration was a little unwieldly for one person assembling the shelves. Luckily, all the hardware needed was in the box. Otherwise, this shelf unit is very acceptable for light items, collectible, annd hobby display. I consider this a fair value.

Very easy to put together, self explanatory. Only problem I had was lining up the little parts that the screws screw into (I’m sure there’s a real name for that) it’s a little rickety, but I’m going to anchor it, and the screw holes for the cross supports on the back are a little too small for the screws, they don’t tighten all the way. I’m sure I could force it with a drill though.

These work for my purpose. They look nice, are decently sturdy, but not made for very heavy items. You might want to brace it to the wall. I would put your heavier items on the bottom shelves, just to be on the safe side. It's not that heavy, so I didn't have a problem moving it around once I put it together. And it was pretty easy to put together, just a lot of screws to turn in. So, all in all, it does well for me. I like all the shelves, giving many items a much needed home, while looking very nice.

This shelf was easy to assemble and looks fantastic. Assembly tip! Make sure that you have the two side braces placed with the side that has the holes for the back brace facing up. It is easier to put the brace on that way so that you don't have to flip the unit over or stand it up to install the brace. Once it's all put together and stood up, make sure to go over all of the screws and tighten them one more time. All you need is a cross head screwdriver and a flat head screwdriver. I didn't have a flat head on hand, so I used a magnet to pull out the metal piece to reposition it. The shelf has nonslip rubber pads on the feet, which keeps it from accidentally sliding around. I'm very impressed with this product.

Thrilled to say that this shelf was VERY easy to assemble! I normally dread building and installing new furniture, but this can almost be done completely without the guide. Everything fit in place where it was supposed to go, no issues with misaligned screw-holes like other furniture does. Sturdy too! That all goes without saying that the rustic brown color is fantastic looking and really does compliment any homes with rustic themes. What are you doing? Go get it! You won't regret it!

Sturdy little shelf! I was pleasantly surprised with how solid this was once built, and really like the modern sort of aesthetic. We used it for bins with toys, but it has side pieces that could act as book ends as well.
