  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Lifesaver, just a bit touchy
Size: 4 Pin
These connectors are a lifesaver when working with tiny solder pads on LED strips. I bought two of these packs, cut them in half, and used them to connect up 1200 addressable LEDs, in sections of 60 lights. Pointers: -Don't solder the pads first, if you do, you will get intermittent connection issues resulting from different heights of the pads -Push the pins down against the housing with a small screwdriver before inserting the LEDs, this makes sure that they are all as flat as possible and helps ensure the best connection -If you cut the LEDs off of a strip, chances are that the remaining half of the pads that you cut through aren't deep enough for this connector to seat all the way onto. Wording here is tricky, but essentially, I figured out that if you push the strip all the way into the connector until it stops, it sometimes wound up where the pins on the connector were too far forward on the LED strip to make contact with the pads. Simple fix, just pull the strip back out a millimeter or so to ensure that the lowest part of the pins makes contact with the pads. All in all, would highly recommend these connectors over trying to manually solder tiny wires onto tiny pads hundreds of times. Even if you are great with a soldering iron, it's just not worth the time for how little these connectors cost. ... show more

Size: 4 Pin
These seem to work fairly well for a non-soldered connections. I did find them to be somewhat fussy at times where I'd loose one or two colors completely until I tweaked the connections with some wiggling. Once it's in place and working, seems to no longer be an issue if it doesn't get jostled. I suggest when using these (or any splicer/connector), that when you cut the light strip you keep the fully exposed contact instead of cutting down the middle of the contacts. You end up wasting some of the LED strip since you are removing the contacts completely from the next section (~2 inches to get to the next contact section for what I had.) By leaving yourself with contacts that are 2X larger, you are afforded a significantly larger patch for "wiggle room" and therefore make installation quite a bit easier and less frustrating. You can swing it either way, just a lot easier/faster imo if you leave the extra contact space. I did use these on "waterproof" LED strip lights. They are naturally made for non-waterproof, but you can remove the waterproofing fairly easily. (I put tension on the waterproof 'cover' by folding the tape back on itself and then sliced the cover with a razor. Once it's cut down to the circuit tape, it peels off relatively easily. Need to be careful not to cut the circuit tape though or you may rip off a contact point when removing the waterproofing. Obviously not waterproof anymore at these joints either.) ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Just what I needed!
Size: 4 Pin
This was exactly what I needed in connecting my LED strips at odd angles. With the colored wires it was simple to keep the polarity correct. Since there were no instructions it took me a bit of trial and error over 10 minutes to figure things out but in the end they made tight connections.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Works as expected
Size: 4 Pin
Item was as expected, arrived on time however two straps had end connectors that were bad and would not snap together. Luckily I only needed half, and I'm sure these are produced by the masses so I would think if I had needed more he would have replaced those that arrived faulty. Would definitely purchase again. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent and easy to use!
Size: 4 Pin
i have govee bluetooth light strips and these work perfectly to "jump" the strip. I have them installed on my bookcases! I hope this supplier will make some longer ones, but these still work perfectly. Took me a little bit to figure out the best/easiest way to hook up each end, but well worth it

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Pressure variances with terminals.
Size: 4 Pin
Although these worked well most times, sometimes the did not offer enough closing pressure, resulting in odd color LEDs on daisy chained strips. A paper clip did the trick, but shouldn't have to. Hence: 4 stars.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars It works!
Size: 4 Pin
Great and cheap product. I hooked up 4 12ft led strips together to light up my apartment. I had the waterproof strips so I used a solder iron to heat up and remove the rubber so I can expose the 4 metal strips. Then wraped it with electrical tape. Needs a little patience but it worked great.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Great time-savings product when soldering is not a good solution
Size: 4 Pin
Great time-savings product when soldering is not a good solution. The only downside is that when you have denser strips you must trim out the locking flap to go around the LED chip.
