I recently purchased this Mauve Pink lipstick online for a special occasion, and I wanted to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. The lipstick is a beautiful shade of pink that offers a stunning color payoff. It’s perfect for adding a pop of color for special occasions. However, my excitement was dampened when the lipstick broke within just a day of receiving it. This was frustrating because it meant I had to dig it out of the cap and place it back into the holder before I could use it. While I appreciate the color, the inconvenience of having to manage a broken lipstick makes it less appealing for everyday use. Another downside I experienced was that my lips felt quite dry after applying the lipstick. To try and alleviate this, I found that applying Chapstick beforehand helped to keep my lips feeling more comfortable throughout the day. This extra step is worth noting, especially if you have dry lips or prefer a more hydrating formula. In summary, while I adore the color and will definitely keep this lipstick for special occasions, I wouldn't recommend it for daily wear due to the durability issues and the dryness it causes. If you're looking for something that delivers an eye-catching color for events, this may be a good choice, but just be prepared to handle a few quirks along the way! Based on my experience with this lipstick, I would rate it a 3 out of 5 stars. **Here's why:** **Pros:** - The color payoff is exceptional; the beautiful peachy pink shade really stands out and adds a lovely touch to any look. **Cons:** - The lipstick broke within a day, which is a significant drawback. The colors were lighter than I thought but they were still ok so I kept them. The one I wanted was too bright and the middle one that I thought would be too dark was just right 🤷🏻♀️ They do go on smoothly - feels good on the lips and stays on for hours. Lips feel like I'm wearing chap stick so that's nice. However - it broke. It broke from the base so it's hard to put on now, and I wondered once the sharpened tip is gone - how am I supposed to get the line, but I'll make it work because this is my daily lipstick now for the Fall season.
