Got a "direct fit" catalytic converter kit that was just a hair shy of being a perfect fit, resulting in an exhaust leak. Strapped this in, it took moments to install and now no more leak. Looks a lot nicer than the clamp that came with the kit. The bolts were long enough to allow for everything to fit together, even on the female end of the pipe that was a bit bigger than the other. It's not super thick, but that seems to help with it conforming to the shape of the pipe for a good seal. I had to really crank and the clamp didn't break, so seemed pretty strong to me, but I wasn't using any power tools, or anything.

I'm a repeat Evil Energy customer and these clamps are serving faithfully, but the Walker/ Dynomax version is MUCH better since everything is welded on those- 2 bolts and a band clamp allow one handed installation. You can hold the exhaust in place and make adjustments while you tighten, and they come with sealer applied for an even better seal. With these you've got to put all the pieces into place and utilize BOTH HANDS to tighten the thing using 2 tools. This may result in using your head to balance the exhaust, and you'll likely need to make adjustments after the fact. The look alright, they tighten, but there's a better option for the same price.

Got this cause i had a custom exhaust put on Stainless Steel and the local garage put a standard steel connector in the middle of the cat and new pipe unfortunately it rotted within a few years my exhaust rotted and dropped to the ground was dragging this was a quick fix to get my mustang back on this road very quickly as it is a daily driver till i get to the garage to have it repaired it is holding very well a couple months now , would highly recommend it a great product would definitely buy again.

This item worked perfect. I bought a new muffler on Amazon and cut off the old one. This clamp was perfect to connect to the rest of the muffler tube going out to the back. The muffler and the original muffler tube were a bit off in size so I just wrapped them in exhaust tape and put the clamp over it. Clamp is working great!

My DIY exhaust went off with out a hitch. Solid stainless steel. Great quality clamps. I also used some as mounting points for hangers as to not mangle up my pipes with the crappy clamps that come with bolt-on hangers. Tight grip and perfect seal. Super price and fast shipping. I used these Evil Energy 2-inch clamps and my new stainless pipes are better than stock by far! I expect they'll last too!
