Used these to clamp on so weld on type tips. You can see the clamp in the picture. I cut four slits in the tip so it could compress onto the pipe.

Very nice clamps. No leaks and no corrosion so far. I installed these about two months ago and they are doing great. I chose these over the standard u bolt clamps because they distribute the clamping force over a slightly wider area. Quality looks good and the install was easy.

The center spacer is a bit too wide and fouls on the pipe when tightening. I knocked it off the splines of the bolt and discarded it.

The packaging was great and the quality of the product I must say “ chefs kiss “ I got this installed as soon as I got them it hold my exhaust Tips with no problem no rattle or movement and didn’t break like the last one I had . Which is the reason I had to get new ones

So this is technically a 2” clamp, made for 2” tubing. If you are planning on using it for a 2” slip-fit connections keep in mind that 2” ID exhaust will give close to 2 1/4 OD once material thickness and slip joints are taken into account. This clamp will work but modifications are needed. See pics for details. ... show more
