It is just too small and thin to attach my white gold crucifix (a small one). I wear this every day and have an 18" chain, but this one would not last a day. It is way too thin for everyday use, and quite frankly for a short term use. It is very thin. The listing mentioned size, but, it just is hard to tell online. Photo's can be deceiving. It was packaged well, but thrown in with 2 gallons of Dawn dishsoap which made it a miracle to arrive without damage. It is very beautiful for a chain, but way too thin/small for my purposes. Be careful and read the dimensions carefully before buying. I would buy a heavier one if I do it over again.

Im a larger woman so a regular 14" or 16" chain feels like its choking me. I got this one in 22" and it lays just below the top of my chest bone. I have bought several chains for this one particular pendant and they were either too big for the pendant to fit on or they broke after a few wears. I decided a real gold chain was needed so I could enjoy the pendant. This chain is perfect, the chain fits through the little tiny ring on the back of the pendant just perfect, it doesnt tangle up and lays as it is supposed to.

Received item today and was honestly confused if I received the correct item. The bag it comes it does not say the actual size, I’ll attach the picture. Seems very small. SO! I got out my handy dandy machinist calipers. My digital calipers measure it at 0.9mm. My manual calipers 0.876mm. Really not a lot until you’re talking about a small gold necklace; then that’s a lot when I paid $340. Definitely not satisfied by any means. Its is nice and shiney. Dainty and looks good on the wife. Not really sure about durability. I went with 1mm to help with durability.

Was very disappointed not in the chain but in the little edge that you hook it on the back of your neck with it's too tiny it's hard to get out to the plastic on and for the money that I paid it already had a great big class on it I'm very disappointed.

I've had a circle diamond pendant for years, but the chain that came with it was always uncomfortably short. Replacing it by ordering online has been tricky because the clasp has to be petite enough to slide through the metalwork of the pendant itself (it doesn't have a bail since it's supposed to just be a circle hanging from a chain). This chain is thin enough with a small enough clasp to do that but still feels solid and sturdy enough for me to trust my expensive pendant to it. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

it just so happened to be too thin, for what i was needing it for; also i was sent a 14" rather than the 18". those things were still not enough to detract from the shine and the delicacy of the chain. if those are the characteristics you are looking for, i would order in a heartbeat.
