i was pleasantly surprised by how nice this quilt set feels and looks, especially for the price. it is very soft, luxurious feeling, not at all cheap looking, and seems decently made. i am very finicky about velvets, especially anything with a synthetic fibre content, and this absolutely does not have the negative qualities i loathe in poly velvets usually. it provides a layer of lighter warmth alone, but we are currently using it layered over a down blanket and topped with an eiderdown on really cold nights. we plan to use it year-round. the shams fit well and were not a struggle to put on. i hope it performs well in the laundry over time; no data on that yet. my sole quibble is that i purchased the 'clay' colour wanting the earthy peachy tone shown, but mine is closer to a rose tone. it's a fairly subtle difference, but if you are very particular about colour or trying to skew peach rather than pink in your decor, it could disappoint. this is true in both daylight and electric lighting. i'd call it close to 'millennial pink', an earthy blush. the colour itself is very pretty, and still has enough 'clay' to it that i am ok with it. i noticed that another listing for this same product offers a 'pink clay', and i wonder if i was sent that instead of the 'terracotta clay'... just an FYI. other than that, i would recommend it heartily.

Ever since I bought this bedspread, I’ve wanted to leave a review because I’ve never had one as soft as this. The softness to the touch is spectacular. Once it’s on the bed, it looks super elegant and it stays wrinkle-free, so my bed looks neat all day. The color is beautiful, exactly like in the photo. It’s the most perfect bedspread I’ve bought, especially considering it’s not the most expensive one out there. However, after I washed it, it tore along one of the seams on the edge. The rest of the bedspread still keeps its soft texture and looks like new even after washing. I don’t know how to sew, but today I’m going to try to fix it because I really like it. And whenever people have seen it, they’ve liked it a lot.

Finally!! I found a true charcoal gray bedding set. This is THE one! It’s not a true black or too much of ac blue or greenish gray. It’s literally a perfect charcoal or dark gray with a velvety texture. This bedding is lightweight yet it looks stately &m and elegant without costing a fortune. I have a Cal king bed so I hope it fits well, but mine will be tucked around the sides and footboards so I don’t need as much length if it were not a platform bed. The pillow shams are an exact match to the quilt’s color and design. The backside of the pillowcases are a cotton (not velvet) texture, but the color is the exact same as the front so, bonus points for that. If you are looking for something that is a true dark gray velvet try this one. I have kissed so many frogs but finally found a prince with this quilt! Thanks to the other reviewer who mentioned that it is gray, not black. I’m glad I took a chance. I’m completely pleased.

Stunning! perfect color, I love the soft texture of velvet, it matches my fur blankets and my bamboo viscose sheets so well. It has a medium/light weight making it perfect for spring/summer, and works beautifully if you throw a fur blanket on top for the winter. I love it and will purchase more colors, truly beautiful set.
