i was pleasantly surprised by how nice this quilt set feels and looks, especially for the price. it is very soft, luxurious feeling, not at all cheap looking, and seems decently made. i am very finicky about velvets, especially anything with a synthetic fibre content, and this absolutely does not have the negative qualities i loathe in poly velvets usually. it provides a layer of lighter warmth alone, but we are currently using it layered over a down blanket and topped with an eiderdown on really cold nights. we plan to use it year-round. the shams fit well and were not a struggle to put on. i hope it performs well in the laundry over time; no data on that yet. my sole quibble is that i purchased the 'clay' colour wanting the earthy peachy tone shown, but mine is closer to a rose tone. it's a fairly subtle difference, but if you are very particular about colour or trying to skew peach rather than pink in your decor, it could disappoint. this is true in both daylight and electric lighting. i'd call it close to 'millennial pink', an earthy blush. the colour itself is very pretty, and still has enough 'clay' to it that i am ok with it. i noticed that another listing for this same product offers a 'pink clay', and i wonder if i was sent that instead of the 'terracotta clay'... just an FYI. other than that, i would recommend it heartily.

We’ve had this for almost a month, and I’ve washed and dried it twice in my standard washer & dryer with no issues! It’s wonderfully sturdy for having a 3 year old and 4 animals, doesn’t overheat us at night while also keeping me (the always cold one) nice and cozy! So so soft and versatile too. I personally prefer using king size bed spreads on our queen for the sides to be completely covered. Just use king pillows inside your shams!:) I purchased this after a set from a large, well known bedding & home store literally ripped constantly with normal use & rare washings. So trust me when I say this thang ain’t ripped. 😂

Love this bedspread, will buy more. It takes less than a minute to make up my bed because its got some weight so its easy to fluff and go. And the velvety but low pile feel is so nice. Price is great so I can have more than one color to switch it up every once in awhile. I live in a hot climate but do run air conditioning, so its fine for me.

The blanket is basically an extremely fine-wale minky. It is 100% polyester through and through, so while it doesn't breathe well, it doesn't get as hot as cotton either, which is what I was looking for. As a 'velvet' texture, it is bound to come with wrinkles, dents and other textile 'scars' from folds and packaging. Don't expect these to wash out immediately, but they soften over time. The color is elegant and serene, a cool-neutral, silvery gray. As far as lay, the blanket tends not to conform (synthetic materials don't) but is light enough that it behaves. Does NOT cover an overstuffed queen bed top to bottom, but does cover everything width-wise. That's why I'm calling it a blanket, not a quilt; it won't hide your box spring if you have one, but WILL work for a platform bed without. Four stars for quality, price and dimensions, but the blanket is very well made. Not a loose thread in sight.

first off, I ordered the burgundy color but when I received it the burgundy was more of a dark reddish mauve. I was hesitant to keep it because it wasn't as dark as I was hoping. but the price is so good I figured I'd open it and see how it looked and boy I have to say it is gorgeous. I washed it before putting it on the bed, and it washed and dried beautifully. it's been on my bed now for about a month. it's very easy care. I have six cats who like to lay on the bed at various times during the day and I was surprised how easy it was to collect the fur that they shed on the bed. I either use a sticky roller or one of those pet rollers and the fur comes off incredibly well, better than any cotton blanket I've ever used. the fur doesn't get stuck in the weave like it does on other types of blankets. it is incredibly soft and I'm just thoroughly pleased with this purchase. I can't attest to the durability because I've only had it about a month and it's only been washed once but after the first wash there weren't any loose stitches or any strings hanging or anything that would cause me to think it wouldn't last. I've ordered other bedding from the same company and the items have always been very well made and durable so I feel like this quilt will be the same.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is such a beautiful set and after reading all the reviews I just had to try it, and I'm absolutely in love. The fabric looks and feels high end and somehow isn't overly heavy or warm! With summer temps well over 100 degrees i absolutely have to have something thin and breathable and this is PERFECT.
