I bought this for my 2013 Ram 2500 5.7L Big Horn edition. I replaced the gas cap after getting error code P0456 when it would get cold or rain. I have my Vehicle inspection next week and this seems to have fixed that annoying code. Be sure to order the O Ring for this part. This is one of the easiest things I’ve ever done working on a vehicle. I opted for the Mopar part, since I only want to do to fix once. Value for the money was great especially it being an OEM product. Only thing that concerned my, but didn't end up being a concern. It was slightly manufactured a bit differently. All in all got installed without any problems. Great product and I would highly recommend this product.

    • Fixed my CEL in my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500
I had a CEL and the "gascap" notice in my instrument cluster. I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 6-speed with the 5.7L Hemi. I replaced the Gas cap, and the CEL didn't go away. I replaced this part, and after I ran a tank of gas through the truck, the light went out. Because of the way the emissions system tests itself, this part usually wont turn off the light right away, but be patient, after a tank of gas or 2 it will likely go out. This part is a much better option than replacing the whole Charcoal cannister like Dodge dealers recommend. Its a good idea to replace the rubber O-ring at the same time. ... show more
