  • My favorite home camera with impressive picture quality
Pro: great picture quality, dual lens/optical zoom, pan/tilt, local storage (potential RTSP support for NAS?) Con: price is on the higher side, had some SD card formatting issue early on, and base could use more weight. I have 4 pet doves at home and have been trying to find a good camera to monitor their room. Tried Blink Mini and another camera available on Amazon that supports pan/tilt, but decided to give eufy S350 a try when I saw the dual lens. The eufy S350 is more than double the price of the other ones I have tried, but the picture quality is also noticeably better, and I'm not talking about just resolution. S350 does support up to 4K, but even at 1080P vs 1080P, the clarity, color, and everything is better. This is likely due to better lens and sensors in these compared to some other cameras. Again, S350 is pricier but it does have an extra lens that will give you optical zoom and noticeably better image quality. This is perhaps where S350 stand out the most to me. The pan/tilt works pretty well so far, but since the camera is a little top heavy due to the pan/tilt and dual lens, the base could use more weight for additional stability. Haven't had the camera tip over yet but it doesn't feel super stable. Had some problem with local storage early on, the camera asked me to check/format the SD card 2-3 times in the first few days, but that haven't seen that problem after that. I used a brand new Samsung Pro Endurance card so it shouldn't be a card problem. Loading from local storage is a little slow due to the decryption process. On top of local/on device SD card storage, the manual also stated that the S350 is compatible with eufy's HomeBase 3 which can enhance some functionality and storage, and also support RTSP protocol if you have a NAS system. Haven't had a chance to try that yet. The AI tracking system/motion detection seems to work well on larger size animal and human, but since my pets are quite small (doves), it will only capture them once in a while when they are in the exact right spot. I wish it could track smaller size animals better but that's not easy to do. The talk from camera function (not sure if I should call that microphone or something else) in the app also works well. You press the button once to enable talk, and press it again to disable it. Some other brands implement it as you have to keep on pressing the button while you talk and that's not exactly easy to use due to app/camera/network latency sometimes. All things considered, this is probably one of the few home/pet cameras that truly distinguished itself from the crowd with the dual lens/pan/tilt design and picture quality. Overall, great camera and worth the price I paid, especially if you care more about picture quality, and may even function better if you pair it with NAS or Homebase. Look forward to potentially trying some other solar/floodlight cameras from eufy in the future. ... show more

  • Great camera
I really like Eufy. I bought this and added it on to my system. It connects easily with home base 3. Easy to set up. Nice clear picture. Sounds good. The only thing I wish I could change is it only records in 2 min. Increments. That doesn’t have anything to do with the camera itself. That is how eufy is set up. There are no extra subscription fees either. Great system. ... show more

  • Great for the price security!
This security camera is better than expected and I could not be happier for the price! The build quality is great (wish it came in black also) it works smooth! Quiet movement when camera is tracking, picture quality is great and with options of wide and zoomed it’s better! My only issue is with the sound, I don’t know if maybe I set something wrong but the sound works great but there are times I get static sounds instead of voice or whatever it’s picking up. It’s ok though as long as the video is good and it is! ... show more

  • Great indoor Camara!
Completely happy with my purchase. This Camara is amazing. The video quality is great. The Ai tracking is spot on. When I'm gone I can't keep an eye on my dogs. When I am in bed at night the Camara has great IR vision and can even see out side my windows. Will definitely be buying more Eufy products. One thing I wish the Camara came with an SD card. ... show more

  • Nice little camera
This camera is pretty cool. It has amazing picture quality, nice controls with the app and is easy to set up. The 1X and 3X lenses along with the pan & tilt provide great flexibility to video coverage. Motion detection, IR capability and the ability to utilize the HomeBase3 for storage make it a nice toy/tool. ... show more

  • Great pet cam!
I got this to keep track of my five kitties when I am at work, and this works like a charm! You have the option to get notifications for human or animal movement, and also an option to record the video to a local microSD card. The app is also very easy to use and intuitive, and allows you to pan/tilt the camera angle as well as zoom in. Also love the fact that this camera does not have any monthly subscription fees, so although the price may be higher than some of the other pet cams, no subscription fees means that this camera will actually be cheaper in the long run. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Eufy Security Ecosystem is Flawed: DO NOT BUY
To begin let me first say I have 13 cameras and a home base. Of the 13, I have needed a warranty replacement for 5 this far after only two years of being on the Eufy Security Ecosystem. App: the app is clunky, and far from user friendly. You would think that you could add one setting that covers all devices, but no. When enabling geofencing, so not to receive an ungodly amount of notifications while just going about your day, each camera needs to be individually addressed. And even after enabling individually, you will still receive a multitude of notifications from each device when geofencing is aware. But fret not, if geofencing does trigger like when my wife leaves the home, I remain but receive notifications as if I were also AWAY. Connectivity: connectivity is atrocious. It doesn’t matter if you connect direct to WiFi of Homebase, these cameras regularly drop and do not work. I am constantly resetting my router and power to the cameras, in attempt to get them to work again. Then, if you’re lucky enough to get cameras to attach to Homebase, they may or may not record events properly. Sometimes it works, sometimes it won’t, and customer service NEVER has a solution. After going all in and spending over $2700 on this ‘home security’ system, I am urging anyone who is considering Eufy to immediately stop and buy anything else. Rather than write an essay, take my word for it. These cameras and system is flawed. And with next to zero actual support from a knowledgeable customer service rep, you will go crazy trying to help improve there product while they continuously suggest it’s a warranty issue. Regardless the software and hardware is terrible. Spend you money else where. ... show more
