This bookshelf is perfect for what I needed. I do want to note though that while it looks nice and cozy after put together there is certainly some issues with the manufacturing. This is one of the lowest quality pieces of furniture I've ever purchased. There was some damage that was clearly due to a lack of quality control at the factory since there was no damage to the box upon delivery, and the pieces that were missing were not in the box. The instructions are also misleading at points, some things are mislabeled, some order of the directions doesn't make sense. So keep in mind that the instructions will require some extra deciphering.

Assembly is pretty simple. The structure is sturdy when you get it all assembled. Aesthetically, it actually looks pretty nice, I needed a small bookcase for my living room to give some storage space for my "overflow books", as my bookshelf in the back room is overflowing. I like that you can pick which side you want the taller shelf on. But one thing I'm not fond of (and I took a star off for this) is the screws on the inside of the bookshelf are not flush, which can cause damage to a book if you try to slide it in and it catches on the screw head. If the book rests against the screw head, it can also cause indentations in the book cover. It would have been simple engineering to flush-mount those particular screws. Also not super-fond of the way the shelves are just screws ran into particle board - heavy books on those shelves means they might fail one day. If mine ever do, I'll put strips on the inside to support the shelves instead of how they have it. But it's not a great design for the long-term. One thing I did especially like was the built in outlets. This actually opened up a few plugs for me which was getting to be a bit of a pain when I needed an outlet. 4 stars.

These was easy to put together since I realized to would be easier if done on a workbench instead of on the floor. Took about 20minutes to assemble. Good thing I had real tools cause I did have to drill two holes on one of these piece that didn't get drilled out. Mine has a touch of a green hue which isnt really pictured but I might've just gotten the pattern away from what shown. Its pretty solid once put together and has a decent weight. Plenty of space to put decor or your books and the outlet is mainly why I grabbed this cause I also use it as a charging station. Personally I think $100 is a tad high as I think this would be great at about $80-$85.

This is described as a bookshelf but I feel like it’s so much more. The shelves are wide and roomy so they fit a large range of items. It has such a cool, mid century vibe to it. It was easy to assemble, took my husband about a half hour. The outlets are so convenient! No more reaching behind furniture to plug things in.

I LOVE this bookshelf! It is SO cute and adds a perfect touch of "vintage" vibes to my living room. I love the design of this bookshelf and how spacious it is. It's able to hold a lot of books and miscellaneous items. It is also SO COOL and USEFUL that there are outlets on this bookshelf. I can put a lamp on top of it and I even use the outlets to charge my phone and other electronic devices. The colors of this bookshelf are beautiful and accurately matched the description/pictures. The uneven bookshelf levels do not look out of place at all, to me, but I can see how for some people, the asymmetry can be a little off-putting. The assembly of this bookshelf was a little bit difficult but it didn't take more than 15 minutes to put everything together. The instruction was pretty clear and easy to understand. The only thing to be aware of is that the bookshelf may not be able to stand completely against the wall. There is a cord for the outlet that comes out from the back, which you have to plug into the wall. So because of the cord, the bookshelf can't be completely against the wall. Unless you choose to not use the outlets, in which case you can just tuck in the cord.

I love, love, love this shelf! I decided to attempt assembling it myself while my husband was at work. It took me less than an hour to complete! That's a win! So many times furniture will require two people and several hours. He did go through and tighten screws after he got home because I do not have the strength in my hands nowadays. It was intended to go into a spare bedroom but after assembly, we decided we prefer it in the entryway at the front door. We are using it as a decorative unit but it would work as a tv stand, as a place to set a suitcase or duffel for guests in a spare bedroom, bookshelf, for storing children's toys in little bins, and more. This is a versatile piece of furniture that I believe we will use for a long time as it feels very sturdy.

This took me an hour to assemble, the instruction were a little confusing, as they named each part with a letter, but the parts itself didn't have a sticker or marking. It wasn't too bad for the main parts, but for the screws, it can be easy to mistake one screw for another. I like that there is a power plug provided, it has two USB ports and two power plugs, and that's very nice to have, especially if you plan to put any electronics on it, or even a table lamp. The wood feels heavy, and I like the look of it, I am very happy with mine and I recommend it
