This will be an in-depth review, because I’m incredibly impressed with this brand. I work at the fragrance counter at Bloomingdales in Southern California, and am very familiar with these fragrances, as I have many of the originals to directly compare with. My niece is the one that turned me on to this company, and told me I should buy some and try them out. So, I bought 6 different fragrances to put them to the test. I’ll also leave reviews on the other products I purchased. I picked this one because my boyfriend loves the smell of the original, but it is very expensive even with my employee discounts. I also am curious because a lot of people complain about Aventus not performing long enough for the price, so I wanted to see if Eternal Atlas can out perform the original. Scent profile & performance - In order to test Eternal Atlas to the original fragrance I actually needed to get a new official sample of Aventus, because the one I had at home was from years ago. After getting a fresh sample of Aventus here is how Eternal Atlas compares. Instantly upon spraying, you can tell that they are very much the same scent profile and DNA. Eternal Atlas is a hint brighter and more fresh smelling, I really like this opening, it’s very masculine but fresh, actually prefer the Atlas opening to the original. The opening on Atlas also seems to last a little longer than the original, which is really nice. After about 15 minutes, they start to dry down and begin to sync up nearly identical. After 1 hour the intensity of both are nearly identical. After 4 hours, again they both have about the same intensity and the profiles are very very close. After 8 hours, they are still performing at the same projection and intensity. In conclusion… Eternal Atlas matches the profile almost perfectly, and it also has longevity that is also nearly identical to the original! For the price I paid for this I have to say I was NOT expecting these results. Any guys looking for an Aventus alternative, this is a no brainer. It smells great, and it performs pretty much the same as the original. Real life test – I had my boyfriend wear Eternal Atlas out to dinner last night, we left for dinner around 5:45pm. I had him do my standard 5 spray method. 2 sprays on skin, 2 sprays on clothes, and 1 spray in hair. He absolutely loves the smell of this fragrance, and had commented multiple times during the night about how this is his new go to bottle. By morning the scent was still on his clothes and skin, but at that point was more of a skin scent, but was still very present. I would say that this has staying power like the original, but if you want it to perform at its max you should apply it with the 5 sprays. And if you want it to go even further, apply lotion to your skin first and it will last even longer. Never blot the fragrances on your skin, as it will break the molecules and lead to less performance. Bottles – the bottle is stunning like other reviews have stated, it is heavy glass bottle and heavy cap. The atomizer is standard/above average, it is not pressurized but it functions great. Spray is a fine mist with good coverage. Again, for the price I was not expecting this level of quality, it is really nice. All 6 bottles I bought cost me about the same price as 1 designer bottle at 100ml, which is crazy! Final thoughts – This is a really high-quality product for the price. I was actually shocked. It’s a great pick up for any collection especially because it is less than 1/10th the price of Aventus, and performs and smells just like the original. I’m impressed with this brand that I’ll be purchasing 6 more bottles to test out soon. Any fans of the original Aventus will be very very happy purchasing Eternal Atlas and saving a lot of money!

This is my first time using this fragrance and it smells amazing absolutely amazing.but I can’t tell you how long the smell lasts since I haven’t wear it for any occasion yet.

Does smell a bit like alcohol, its the first ingredient listed also which means its mostly alcohol from what I read. Not as bad as some but still definitely there.....updated to 4 stars, the lingering scent is much better
