I had hoped that the material would have some stretch, and it does a little, but I can still only zip them about halfway up. I have wide feet so I normally get a 7.5 wide or 8, and these fit around my feet well. The top has tiny triangle of elastic that allows for about half an inch of wiggle room there, they look nice, the fur inside went all the way down to the shoe part, and they felt good on my feet. Initially, the company sent me the wrong boots so they were returned and the correct ones were sent. The boots look great and are comfortable, a little wide for my 'average' foot size but I like to wear fuzzy socks. I bought them for the wide calf feature but they were still a bit tight on my huge viking calves. Hoping they stretch a bit more with wear because I like them, overall, and am keeping them. I little dresser than my other snow boots. They are comfortable to walk in shopping. As far as foot area not very warm, I put an alpaca liner in the bottom as I could feel the cold from the ground. So if I also wear my smart wool socks they help keep my feet warmer. I did not buy them thinking they would keep my feet warm, I just wanted a bit dresser boot for going out to dinner, shopping. When we are colder than 20°s, I'll go back to my warmer boots. ... show more

Unfortunately, I have to return the boots. They look really nice on. It has lining for “warmth”, but it isn’t fleece. No problem! Thick socks would take care of that! Not for me. It fits just dandy -nice and snug if you plan on not wearing socks at all. It’s the only reason that it lost a star for my rating. I didn’t rate for waterproofing, etc because I never left my living room with them on. Not the fault of TOTES, but why do makers of winter boots have them fit like a regular shoe? ... show more

These boots are so beautiful! They don't even look like winter snow boots. The only problem I had and it may not be a problem for anyone else but for me they are a little too heavy. I realize that the weight is most likely intentional. However, I wore them for several hours and my feet and shins were pretty sore. Im sure over time ill get used to them. ... show more
