Eat to inflate & it holds air well (although we've only had it for a month). My daughter isn't doing any crazy flips on it, she's just working on a back handspring, so I can't say how it holds up to aggressive use.

The media could not be loaded. The mat is sturdy, well-made, and perfect for practicing gymnastics, cheer, or tumbling at home. It inflates quickly with the included pump and holds air really well, so you don’t have to constantly refill it. The thickness provides great support and bounce, making it safer and more comfortable for flips, jumps, and stretches. It’s also easy to wipe clean and folds down into the carry bag for storage or transport, which is very convenient. The material feels durable and strong, so it should last through a lot of use. Overall, this mat is a great value for the quality and is excellent for kids or adults who want to safely practice at home.

We have only had this mat for about 5 days, but my nearly 12 year old daughter is absolutely torture testing it. It is withstanding all of her tumbles and cartwheels and round offs and her aerial training. She has it in her bedroom (it's a big room) and it has definitely dampened the noise of her tricks coming through the ceiling. My ONLY complaint so far is that it was tricky to fill with air without losing air. You have to move FAST to pull out the pump nozzle and replace the twisty cap. I got there on my own, but it would be easier with two people. 5 days and a lot of use in and it has maybe lost a tiny bit of air where it's a little squishy on the very ends, but no sign of a leak. Have not tried rolling it up for storage yet since it's used all the time!
