Bought this case 6 months ago. My friends and I were sitting around a campfire, sipping Modelos and chatting about our celebrity look-alikes. I couldn’t recall the name of the celebrity I resemble, so I pulled out my trusty iPhone to search her name. I excitedly exclaimed “LISA LOEB!!” and as I did, my phone decided to parkour out of both of my hands and fell into our fire. The three of us all stood up and stared into the fire at the picture of Lisa Loeb staring back at us while flames enveloped her. We all softly murmured “oh noooo” while processing the absurdity of the situation. Finally, we all sprung into action. My friends scrambled to find tools to retrieve my phone. I almost grabbed the phone with my hands but reason and sensibility finally entered the chat. I spotted a spoon and metal bowl, grabbed it and scooped my phone out of the fire. We recently purchased two new Apple iPhones. We used clear cases from another vendor for three years, and they were excellent. However, that vendor no longer had a listing for clear cases. So, we went with the ESR clear case. Now that they are on our phones, they look great and appear they will do a fine job of protecting our phones. A couple of negatives is that it was a challenge to separate the top and bottom pieces which were so tightly connected that I thought there was only one piece. About the only way to separate the pieces is to insert your finger nail in the open slot for the charge cable and pull back and grab one of the pieces. Also, getting the bubbles out is a challenge. On both phones, I ended up having to use the two glass covers that were provided in each package. ... show more

OVERALL, I am extremely pleased with this case! My work provided me with an iPhone (12 Pro) and I needed a case. I'm a fan of transparent cases as I love to show off my iPhone colors. I mean, why even choose a color when you can't even show it? Something I'll never figure out. My personal phone is the 13 Pro (waiting for the iPhone 15, if it's even called that). This case [along with the shield] provides top-level protection. As careful as I am with any phone in my possession, one can never know and although I haven't dropped my work phone yet, I am absolutely confident that the build and quality of the case will keep it safe if anything happens. Just look at the kind of material it's made of and those corner bumpers! Those are sure to keep the phone from breaking on impact. The shield it comes with (I think it's glass) so far has protected the screen nicely, although I don't mix the phone in with other things in my backpack/ bag pockets and compartments or other "tools of the trade," (IT Deparment). So far, all is EXTREMELY good! Oh, and I'm not sure if they promote this but the case is also nicely grippy. I can place in on the dashboard and not worry about it falling. I can place it on my desk in which we've played musical desks at work a few times and it hasn't slid off at all. Don't think about getting one, DO get it! ... show more

It protects my phone very well. The only drawback is if you don’t get the screen protector on squarely then when you put the frame on the phone it will push the protector up a bit causing a bubble that will not go away.

I ordered this case because I liked the look, but I expected the yellowing that is inevitable with all clear cases. However, I did not expect the warping/breaking. This case lasted me 2 years before the rubber edge guard began to warp and become noticeably flimsy. Additionally, a break between the siding and the hard plastic back appeared and became a bigger break over time. It's worth noting that I do not take the case off and on very frequently; I try to keep it on always unless I really need to clean the phone. While I'm ready to find a new case due to the condition of this one, it has served its purpose in protecting my phone. I can't recall any major drops, but it's definitely bounced around a few times and I think the rubber edges on this case did help keep it safe. Overall, was good while it lasted, but I definitely need a new one after 2 years. UPDATE: shortly after writing this review, the hard plastic frame started to break apart ... show more

I purchased an ESR case for my iPhone X, 11 pro and now my iPhone 12 pro - no regrets and I continue to plan to use ESR even though I am on the iPhone Upgrade program with all the insurance I could add. If you are looking for a case that has perfect button control (bonus: The silence switch is now impossible to _accidentally_ switch!), and that theoretically should protect your iPhone 11 pro, this is it. I have had no issues with the ports or Qi wireless charging. Size: If you have an iPhone 7 Plus, that is virtually the same size as the iPhone 12 Pro with this case (iPhone 12 Pro is slightly shorter). Some minor CONS: The edge of the case is very slippery (all 4 sides), so when leaning against something on a slippy surface like glass, it will likely slip down. The back is not very grippy as well but if it is flat on a tilted glass surface it will not slip. CONS: If you are looking for a low profile case, this is not a low profile case - do not buy this, it trades off slight bulk to protect the phone. If you are looking for a case to remove and put back on regularly - do not buy this, it trades off ease of removal to protect the phone. I want to add that is not difficult to remove this case at all, it can be removed relatively easy, but in two pieces and it takes time to get it off, like a tight glove. If you have giant fingers, you may not be able to reach in to switch the silence switch and may need a pen or something. I wear medium glove size and I can reach the switch with my thumb without issue. ... show more
