This year the case was available before my phone was so I preordered it and had it ready. These cases are absolutely fantastic for the price. The kickstand hinge never got loose in a full year of heavy use on the iPhone 11, such a great feature for reading news while you eat, etc. This year I got the clear case to show off my 12 pro Max’s blue color and it looks great, fits perfectly. This is superb case for the price and the metal kickstand which allows for standing vertically or horizontally is amazing! And case still wirelessly charges!! And the fact that it’s clear shows off the 12 Max so nicely! Not sure what it is about the Pro Max but it’s the nicest looking and fit and feel iPhone I’ve had yet! Only con not much of a protective lip however I do have extra protection with the screen protector so I’m hoping this isn’t a problem ... *Update - case started turning yellow on the sides and the kickstand mechanism and case became warped and the kickstand never shut properly again , took off and went back to oem thin iPhone 12 rubber case ... show more

Case is very nice. Shows off iPhone. Stand is also very sturdy. However just like another reviewer mine begun to yellow at about four months. I had it for six months and case has begun to warp and no longer fits tightly on the corners. Nor does the stand fit in the case properly. UPDATE** After reading my Tony review customer service sent me an email. They apologized for the slight issues I had had with my case which I had originally given two stars. They explained to me why that it happened and sent me a replacement and offered to refund me but I felt like I had gotten at least six months use out of it and did not need a refund. The case shows off my 12 Pro Max in Pacific Blue perfectly. The kick stand actually works as advertised, unlike most others. Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Was excited to get my ESR Kickstand case for my new IPhone 12 Pro Max but I was disappointed when I opened the box. The case wouldn’t fit my phone and when I looked inside the stand’s housing was faulty and the stand fell right out. Not only that I was shocked and the thinness of this case. It doesn’t have the protection of past cases I’ve had. I’ve used several ESR cases over the years and I love them. This is the first time I've had an issue. I’m hoping this was just a fluke. If I wasn’t familiar with the quality they usually provide I would’ve given 1 star. I had to return it. Hopefully a better version is coming soon. ... show more

I give this 5 stars because it’s what I expected and what I wanted out of it. I was originally set a case and an empty envelope showed up, then the case that actually made it was not fit to form. It fit loose and looked kind of saggy at the bottom. I asked to return it. Turned out to be a manufacturer defect. I was refunded and I decided to forgo the kickstand case. A few weeks later I get a new one in the mail unannounced and this one actually fits and my phone stay perfect. I almost just went with a life proof but this one is the one I wanted and Now I have it. The kickstand works as advertised and the case is sleek. I dropped my phone and nothing happened to it. Edited*** Great customer service. After hearing about my issue with the clear case, the company helped resolved this problem. If you don’t want to worry about discoloration of the clear case, try the black case! The case itself serves as good protection and I have not had any issues with the kickstand. Original review: Been using the case for the past 4 months and it began to turn yellow about 1 month ago. I take great care of my things so I know it’s not because of something I did.
