Works excellent! Better than the Mophie one I purchased initially. Connects great on Acura and Honda vents, something that some seem to struggle with. Magnet is super strong, have had no issues with it falling off either the mount, or the mount coming off the vent, or the mount breaking, all issues I've had with the Mophie and why I was looking for a different option. No issues with the nut so far, others complained but I think as long as you don't over tighten it shouldn't be a problem. Maybe they are using bigger and heavier phones or something. I'm just running a standard iPhone. I didn't use the adhesive mount. On the Odyssey it seemed to vibrate more with the road and I struggled at times to get it to stop. The little brace "foot" helps, and I probably just needed to adjust the mounting as I did not have problems in my car mounted to a very similar vent. I got the one with the fan inside "Cyroboost" or whatever. It does seem to work well, I'll have to see how it does this winter when the AC isn't also running, that's usually when I have trouble keeping the phone cool with GPS and charging going on at the same time. I was skeptical about the magnet strength and charging capabilities. The magnet is pretty strong. I have used it for a week so far and the phone has remained on the charger. The charging feature was very slow with the included cable. Once I changed it out with a fast changing cable, the charging speed increased dramatically. I would say double, if not triple, the speed. I do have a case, but my case has the Magsafe technology, also. So Im not sure of the magnet strength when using a normal case. It does come with dash mounting and AC vent mounting options. I use the vent option and the grip strength is great. I would recommend this product. Just make sure to swap out the included USB-C cable with a fast charging one. ... show more

Size: Qi2 15W - CryoBoost
Nice and compact (unlike the "grabby" wireless chargers this is the Magsafe/Qi2/magnetic style) and the cooling fan makes a significant difference in temperature which, especially in a car, can be a big deal. The vent housing bracket is one of the best I've seen, does not bounce or come loose with the phone on it, it is reasonably low-profile (projection from the vent) and stays where you put it. Of course you need a phone and case compatible with Qi2 magnetic chargers, but that's a given for this sort of unit. Needs USB-C PD power to work at full output; I did try plugging it into a USB-A adapter (QC capable) and while it came on and charged it was materially slower. Its not the cheapest but it works and the cooling fan is a significant plus (and IMHO you really do need one with Qi2 due to the higher power) thus value is good, provided of course its durable which I don't yet know. Very easy as are all Qi2 setups; just put the phone on and it snaps in place; twist to break the magnetic connection and remove. The smaller size also means it doesn't block as much of the dash which in many cars is also a problem with other charger/holders. Like all car phone holders the right place to put it depends entirely on the vehicle, your sightlines and similar so your mileage may vary on that. I like it and, provided durability is good consider it as "best available at present time for this application." ... show more

I’ve tried a bunch of car mounts and this one is the first that actually solved my overheating phone problem. The vent mount channels air right at the back of the phone, and that alone makes a noticeable difference when I’m running GPS or using Apple CarPlay. The magnet is the perfect strength — holds tight over bumps but makes it easy to grab the phone with one hand. Setup is fast and the different mounting options (vent, dashboard, adhesive) worked across every car I tested — nearly universal. Build quality feels solid and it stays in place. Worth every penny. Would recommend to anyone who runs navigation, streams, or just wants a reliable hold and cooler phone. Pros: Keeps phone cool, strong but easy magnetic lock, versatile mounts, simple install.
