Great purchase. This is easy to install, works great. Very strong magnet. Perfectly positioned and easy to adjust. It does get hot, but in the summer the ac cools it down. I would probably buy the one with the installed fan if I had to do it again but in the meantime this one works.

Great product, works perfectly with my iPhone 16 max. I didn't know what the paddle on the lower back of the product was from the photos, it stabilized the whole unit after being connected to the vent. I like that it is connected to the vent so AC cools the phone on hot days. The vent clamp is very strong and won't come loose. I put it on the passenger side vent so it doesn't block the vehicle computer screen, it adjusted fine to read the phone. This works so well that I plan to get one for my other vehicle. ... show more

    • Solid charger, though not perfect.

I bought a number of different chargers to see which I liked. I ended up keeping the Cryoboost version of this. It's a bit bigger and bulkier than I expected. The vent mount works fine, but my vents are apparently kinda flimsy, so it bounces a bit, even with the stabilizer. The entire attachment mechanism is also bulky. And the adhesive option doesn't stick on my dash (the Toyota Camry 2008 and its siblings famously have a gross dashboard material that resists all these adhesives). It also doesn't charge my phone (Google Pixel 9 Pro) any faster or slower than the other options I tried, even with Qi2. What it does do it (1) not tip over due to the weight of the phone, and (2) has a removable charging cable. I opted for the CryoBoot and Qi2 option because I wanted the pretense of keeping the phone cooler; Pixels have a habit of overheating. Functionality: It works just as expected Durability: It is super durable - in fact, I have gotten this for more than me in my family.

    • Sadly, like others, the adhesive failed

I purchased this in the fall of 2024. It worked great for my situation. The MagSafe really made the phone visible & accessible. The charging is a bonus even though I have a charging pad in the new car. But, it's not reliable at actually charging the phone and I can't see it or do anything with it. This worked great until today when the adhesive failed. I'm not really surprised since I have tried several others with adhesive. They all failed some on the very first day. So I credit this of changing on this long. The vent attachment isa nonstarter for me because the car has vents with a grid for a cover. Not slots. I understand the dilemma for ESR (& several others0 I have tried. The dash is a terrible place with all the light and heat breaking down the plastic and adhesive. In this case It did much better than I thought. Now I'm off to find some sort of adhesive to stick on. Something I can replace when it inevitably fails. ... show more

So far seems to be great quality. I love it's ease of use. Only had it for a month or so but I've brought it on a trip, used it in my own car and a rental and it's very versatile while being firm and strong. You have to know how to use the tightener properly or I could see someone breaking it. The functionality seems to be meant for allowing a little room to move if you need to worth some force. It has a bottom brace for a reason and it works great to brave it from going up or down. Some people may tighten it too much to prevent that wiggle room which will snap the plastic tightener. The connectivity charges super fast with the micro usb to micro usb cable I have in my car for fast charging. The brightness is not bad, but gives a flair. The magnet connection is also perfectly strong while not too strong where you can't take it off without breaking it. I love the design as well. Very sleek and fits with most vehicle interiors. I would buy one again and definitely recommend to anyone. ... show more

Worked really well for a year, exactly as advertised. Easy to install and charged my phone very fast. I’m a year in and the plastic nut on the back cracked (see pic). I’m still using it, but it’s not retaining its position very well now. Reached out to ESR support to buy a new nut, will update if they get back to me. **Update** the company reached out and offered to refund me.
