I grabbed the Esjay Toddler Busy Board Montessori Toy for Girls because toddlers are energy in human form and I needed something to channel that chaos into productivity. This busy board actually delivers. This thing hits Montessori vibes without pretending it’s a spaceship cockpit. I gave this to my grandson, who’s just turning 1, and he was completely mesmerized within seconds, which honestly felt like a small miracle. Everything on it works exactly as it should, with pieces that are accurate, functional, and clearly designed with little hands in mind. Some of the activities are a bit advanced for him right now, but he’ll grow into them, which makes it a toy that can last a while. We originally received this busy board as a gift and loved it so much that we ended up buying one for someone else too. It’s such a fun and engaging toy, with lots of different activities that keep little hands busy and help build fine motor skills. It’s also lightweight and easy to take along for car rides or outings. The only downside is the durability. After regular use, we started noticing some wear and tear sooner than expected — a few pieces loosened up and the material didn’t hold up quite as well as we hoped. It’s still usable, but for the price, we expected it to last a bit longer. Overall, it’s a great concept and makes a thoughtful, entertaining gift — just wish it was a little more sturdy.
