The fabric of the blouse has a high end sheen and the buttons have an ocean pearl reflecting quality. I compare it to pure silk blouse quality with real ocean pearl buttons. The fabric is polyester with elastin and the buttons are a high quality plastic button that look like and have a sheen of ocean pearl. The weight of the blouse is substantial and feels so soft. The best part is it feels like a silk blouse but when you reach across the desk for a pencil it has no restrictions on the seams. I feel wrapped in a silk blouse and it moves like a second skin. The sleeve length is perfect unless one has short arms. The blouse could be tailored to shorten the sleeves up to 2 inches. I have long arms and this fit me perfectly in the sleeves. I am 5 7 in height and 190 pounds. I got the extra large for my bust line. Although it is fancy material I find it will fit well for and with any casual or dress occasion. I was looking for a cute silky top to put under sweaters and dresses, and chose this one. I honestly thought it would be see through but it's not! Would I wear a black bra under this? No, but you can't see a nude, white or even a green one through this. It's soft and comfortable, and the quality is good. Highly recommend! For those curious: I'm 5'1", 115 lbs and wear a 34C bra. I got a size small and it fit perfectly, and was loose like I wanted.

Love the look of this shirt but the listing states ‘silk’ and it not silk at all, it is polyester which is not preferred, I realized many of these companies list ‘silk’ in the title which is very deceptive as it should say ‘silk look’ or ‘silk like’. The shirt is well made but after wearing a few times it has strings of thread hanging in the wrist area.
