This is a pretty good portable airbrush machine. It’s easy to use, great for all levels of artists, and charges pretty quick. It’s easy to clean too with the cleaning equipment thats provided as well. It’s not super odd and is quite fun to use also.     • Great for beginners
This is a great little airbrush for beginners or small, portable projects. Parts of it feel a little cheap and the battery makes it a little heavy, but for $20 it's a fantastic deal. I'm a little worried about some internal parts being plastic instead of metal, as that means they won't last very long and I'm not sure if they're replaceable. It comes with some cleaning brushes, two extra paint cups of different sizes, an extra needle, and a couple of replacement washers, making it a great starter tool. It doesn't have a whole lot in terms of spray type, essentially wide lines or thin lines so this is better for smaller surfaces. Since I'm using this to paint the edges of books, it's perfect for me. This is not what I would consider a professional grade and it feels like it wouldn't last as long as a more expensive option, but for basic purposes its perfect. ... show more

Many years ago I used to be a professional airbrush artist/illustrator, so I did know my way around pens and airbrushes. Of course now computer programs, for my purposes, do the same for me. This is definitely a light duty, it gets you by, type of airbrush. It does not have an up/down air pressure control, just a back and forth pressure and amount of paint movement. I tried this with consumer grade airbrush paint, and while it did lightly/thinly blow thru, it is definitely only for little thin line type application. It even stopped working (seemingly clogged) during my tryout, and I really didn't even do anything much yet! It brought back memories of the dreaded constant cleaning I used to have to do throughout my jobs. I did get this with the ceramics studio I am involved with in mind. I was hoping to find a portable airbrush that I could shoot glaze thru... but, I don't think this will be the pen for that. If my thin airbrush paint clogged, then i am sure so will the thicker glaze. I did figure and hoped that if nail polish could go thru, then so would ceramics glaze. I will play around with this some more. It did ship with what looks like another nozzle... maybe that is for thicker paint, although there were no instructions or packing descriptions shipped with this airbrush. Also, there is a constant on plow of air even when the nozzle is not pulled back, so you need to be careful not to drag the brush over/above a wet area of paint, elst it will unwillingly blow the wet paint around. ... show more

    • Very good for decorating cakes
I use these for decorating cakes and cookies at my bakery, and I am very happy with the results. It charges quickly, and has a long runtime before it requires a recharging. It is extremely quiet, light, and easy to use. I used to use one of these that had to be hooked up to a compressor. Not only was that method very loud, but the hose connecting it was cumbersome and the pressure was constantly fluctuating. This product solved all of those shortcomings. I simply load it up with some airbrush ready food coloring (I have tried diluting my own, but it is much easier and more consistent to just order the premixed stuff), turn it on, and spray away! I haven't even had it clog on me once yet. Makes decorating so much easier, whether it is a nice gradient, spray type design, or sprayed through a stencil, this product has helped my business out immensely. ... show more

I really look forward to doing more with this airbrush. I think it's going to be a pretty decent starter system. It's easy to put together and understand and comes with nearly everything you need. The air compressor is easy to charge and attach and is pretty light. I love that it's cordless as well.

At the time of my writing this review, this airbrush is listed at $19.99. I have to say, I really wasn't expecting much. To my pleasant surprise, this thing actually works quite well. It appears that the listing is marketing it towards makeup or nail applications. I didn't see any reason why it wouldn't work for some model painting. That's what I'm intending to use it for. Mind you, I'm not any kind of serious modeler. In fact, I just got into the hobby and was looking for a low cost uncomplicated airbrush. Here it is. The directions aren't very good, but the device is pretty intuitive. Just play around with it and eventually you'll figure it out. While the kit isn't super loaded, it does come with everything you need to get started. It's a really convenient package to get up and running with your hobby, without having to worry about spending a lot of money and dealing with separate air compressors. Really, for the price this thing is a great way to test the waters. And, at this low price I have no problem recommending it. ... show more

I like the fact that this kit comes with some basic supplies, and I like how easy it is to setup. The instructions weren’t helpful, but it is easy to figure out how to assemble everything. Cleaning it is simple and the cleaning rods were a nice touch. I don’t have much experience with airbrushes but the one I received seems to operate a little rough. It seems that the spray pressure adjustment doesn’t work much making the spray pattern inconsistent. ... show more
