I bought this to be my travel stroller. The fact that it folds down small enough to fit in the overhead compartment was the biggest selling point. It fit in the overhead compartment of our plane with room to spare. I recently used this on a weeklong trip to the Caribbean and my three month old baby practically lived in it anytime we weren’t in the hotel. The full recline was essential, as he is too young to sit up in an inclined position. I loved the infant nest feature using the side snaps as it kept his feet and toys safely inside the stroller. You just have to remember to unsnap the panels anytime you’re closing the stroller. the seat is nicely padded, and my baby seemed comfortable anytime he was in the stroller. The basket underneath is small, but it was big enough to hold my midsized tote, which doubled as my diaper bag. The basket is easier to access from the front when the leg flap is folded up. The telescoping handle is a nice feature, as my 6 foot husband was able to adjust it whenever he was pushing the stroller, and I could lower it whenever I was pushing. The wheels roll nice and smoothly. It practically pushes itself. I walked with it one-handed the majority of the time. As others have said, the canopy does not fully cover the child, depending on the angle of the sun and the time of day. I kept a thin blanket handy and just clipped it to the canopy to provide additional shade when needed. The only downside for me is that I cannot close it one-handed, and I have a hard time opening it one-handed as well. My husband, who has bigger hands, is able to close it with one hand. Definitely not a dealbreaker. Highly recommend if you are in need of a compact travel stroller. It is also recommended to get the travel bag, which is sold separately, for storing the stroller when it’s not in use. ... show more

Our search for the perfect compact travel stroller is finally over! After looking for some time, purchasing and returning a few options the Merto+ stood above the rest. Is it the cheapest option, no. Is it the lightest option, no. Or even the smallest folding, nope. But it offers so much more. This stroller folds small enough to easily fit in an airplane overhead bin, rolls smooth and easy enough for a day at the amusement park and has a good size storage area. The feel of strength and confidence it’s not about to snap in half are worth not being the smallest or lightest. This stroller has already been on half a dozen flights with us and has been perfect every time. I was hesitant to replace our Nuna Mixx next with a different travel stroller (we took the Nuna on 35 flights, but had to gate check it each time). I didn’t want to give up the quality and ease of use of the Nuna but the Metro+ does an excellent job bringing that quality into a smaller package. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

Firstly, I really want to give this stroller a 5 star review but I subtracted a star for the less than smooth opening and close of the stroller. You need your hand and at least your foot to kick this thing open. There's room for improvement in that department. Also, I was mistaken and thought the back pack came with it and it does not. It's out of stock on Amazon, but you can order it directly from the seller and they give you a coupon for a 1st time purchase. That being said, this stroller is amazing. I'm writing this as my 12 month old is asleep and snoring in it. Not only is this thing compact and the smoothest ride, it has a big perk a lot of the compact stroller don't have. This thing allows you to lay the baby completely flat. You even have a foot rest. This is essentially a bed on wheels. But even if baby doesn't want to sleep you can also have it fully erect, or somewhere in between. I bought this because I am traveling out of the country and going from airport to airport with a baby is difficult. Your baby needs space to relax, especially with layovers or dead time in between flights. You can look at the pictures I put in this review. My 12 month old baby is 26lbs and 33 inches long. There is still plenty of room to grow. I love this stroller so far. I will update after my trip to let you know if anything changed. ... show more

Spent a long time researching for a light weight and comact stroller (uses us as a main one, doesn't take up much space in the car, and easy to handle). We had one that was awesome but wouldn't recline all the way back, and I always felt that it prioritizes my own comfort over my baby's. With this one you don't have to settle! It reclines and has a leg rest, for a laying down position, it can support the weight of a growing toddler - easy. I expect it to serve us well at least until my son will be 5, maybe 6. Only down side is that it folds outwards instead of inwards (so it can get dirty easy), AND it doesn't stand independantly while folded (has to be supported by / against something). I didn't like that. Also, I feel that a built in cup holder would have been an awesome advantage. But compaired to all the advantages of this stroller - padded so nicely, roles so smoothly, awesome large canopy with pick-a-boo, I still felt that it desrves 5 starts. ... show more

We used this stroller for traveling to Europe. Our son was around 1, and the stroller was perfect. He was able to take naps due to the stroller allowing for a very close to flat incline and leg adjustment. Very easy to fold once you get the hang of it, fits in between the isle on planes and fits in the overhead bins as a carry on. HIGHLY recommend, it rolls so smooth and the shocks on the front tire help with the smoothness, can easily be pushed with one had. Only negative is that it doesn’t come with cup holders but you can get add on attachments if needed. ... show more

Initially purchased ahead of travel plans. It has now replaced our bulky stroller. Love how it fits easily in the reduced trunk space when we are using our SUVs third row. Open and closing gets a little getting used to, but it’s so easy. Smooth ride with extended shade and fully reclines. Wish the actually seat was placed a bit higher, it would make reaching into the storage much easier. Also wished I had the option to see baby through the sun shade. Ordered the front bar accessory, but had a hard time installing it, so we returned it. Going to order the cup holder soon. Absolutely love the Ergo brand. ... show more
