I bought this desk after experiencing a life changing event. While sitting at my desk, working on a project, I had this wild pain that radiated from my shoulder then into my chest. My doctor knew I thought a heart attack, I knew she thought I thought I had a heart attack.. I did not have a heart attack. I did however show her how I sat at my desk, and she concluded my desk and posture were causing strain on my shoulder which led to some muscle strain and me going to the doctor because... I thought I was dying. In my defense, it was scary and I didn't want to die. Anyways. I ended up going with this desk and BOY HOWDY I am so glad I did. I can set different heights for when I need to be in type mode (sitting up straight, intense posture, I'm sitting like that Right. Now.) Then I have chill mode, where I can sit all the way back and under the keyboard tray, very comfy, very good for my shoulder. Then I've got standing mode, for when my Apple Watch bullies me. PLUS I have so much more space with my keyboard not taking up 90% of my desk, I also have my monitor mounted so I highly recommend that. This desk Is the bees knees if you are realizing you're getting older and need to purchase furniture for comfort and function, not for vibes. I love this desk. It was everything I was hoping for. The motor is smooth and quiet. Now I can use it standing or sitting. The saved settings is a nice feature and easy to figure out. I thought having the top in two pieces might bother me, but once it was set up and had my equipment on it, I don't even notice it. I definitely recommend this desk.Assembly was a little tricky and I had to figure some of it out on my own. I ended up with the drawer upside down and had to figure out how to release it and reinstall it. ... show more

This is a decent desk. Only real knock I have is the cam locks are cheap. If you have the cam pin to deep on installation they will break easily. The top is two pieces. They do a good job of keeping them locked, but I'm already seeing some separation due to the weight of the monitor I have installed. The instructions are good and assembly was quick and easy. I did everything with a screw driver and the provided tools. Very easy to assemble. Probably about 30 minutes. It is very sturdy, super easy to use. I love doing work standing up. For long hours, I lower it to desk height, and can work for hours. And, on top of it all, it looks great!
