  • Gorgeous paper, just be sure to print on the proper side!
Size: 8.5" x 11" 20 sheets
This paper works beautifully with my Epson Stylus Photo R1900 and the print quality is superior to anything else I have tried. However, be sure to print on the correct side! Everyone talks about printing on "the brighter side" but it's not always that obvious unless you are holding it in very bright, natural light. When you open the package from the back, the printing side is usually facing you, right underneath the instructional paper. I attached a photo to illustrate how much sharper (and simply more fabulous) the print quality is if printed on the correct side, compared to the wrong side (oops). I hope this helps. ... show more

  • There's a Right Side and Wrong Side to this paper
Size: 13" x 19" 20 sheets
I love the quality of this paper, but it took me 3 tries (3 large sheets full of ink) to figure out why my prints looked so faded. I bought this paper to make fine art prints from my original acrylics (which range from light washes to dark/black tones). After 3 prints, I thought something was wrong with my Canon Pixma iP8720 printer. After reading a few reviews about the paper, I thought I'd try flipping my faded prints over to try printing on the other side. That worked! I know there are some reviews that say there's not much difference between the front and back of the paper, but please follow the instructions inside the cellophane sleeve to determine which is the front side. It can make a big difference depending upon what you are printing! ... show more

  • Nice paper, but has some specific needs
Size: 13" x 19" 20 sheets
Nice thick paper, almost like watercolor paper, but a bit more even in texture and bright white. The matte texture does make the color a bit more subdued; I printed on a six-color pigment ink jet printer, so maybe a wider ink spectrum would improve this a bit? The texture also picked up little tiny particles from the spray, too, so if you look super close you can see little flecks of orange in the recesses of the paper. Not a big deal, but keeps the image from being as crisp. I would use this for images that are softer, like oil or watercolor pieces. I would also advise using this with a printer that allows you to feed pages in flat. The printer I used only had a top feeder, which curved the paper as it went through. It flattened out again quickly, but the curved end of the page took some ink splash as it went through, and about half the ones I printed had black stains on the bottom edge. My biggest complaint is that even though the Amazon box was undamaged, and the paper package was undamaged, the paper itself was all bent on one corner. I have to assume it was packed that way at the factory. Of course I didn't realize this until I'd already printed on a couple, so too late for returns now. But I can't justify selling prints on these pages to a customer, at least not at full price; I'll just have to use it for proofs now. :-/ ... show more

  • Great for giclee prints
Size: 8.5" x 11" 20 sheets
I make art prints for my clients. I did a lot of research before settling on this as my paper of choice, and I've been happily using it for a few years now. It can be pricier than some others, but I love the way the colors come out on it, smooth and saturated in a way you don't usually see on matte papers. (Just make sure you print on the right side! The printing side is the one that's facing you when you open the package, with the sheet of directions in front.) It's a good weight too, nice and thick while still being manageable by a home printer. ... show more

  • Love this paper! Some pros and cons.
Size: 17" x 22" 25 sheets
This is the BEST Epson paper I've used. I have been using it for about 4 years now for my custom print business. I always get compliments on the quality of the paper I use. I buy these big sheets and cut them into the appropriate sizes with my big paper cutter. Pros: - Super huge! Can be cut down into 8 8.5x11" sheets or I think 12 5x7". I can't remember off the top of my head. But I get 2 inch strips of leftover when cutting 5x7s. - Obviously the quality is great - They now have marked which side to print on on the package. So you know by how you pull it out of the plastic sleeve. - The packaging (black box it comes in) is good for storage and sturdy. - This size is more economic than the smaller sizes (price per 8x10 print, etc) IF you have a 24" paper cutter, which is kind of spendy. (If you do by a paper cutter do not skimp out and try to be cheap. You need a good heavy one to ensure straight cuts, especially with this kind of paper.) Cons: - If you're not experienced with the paper and know the textures you can get mixed up which side to print if you dont pay attention how you pull it out of the package and set it down somewhere. (This is strange but you can tell by putting your tongue on both sides. The stickier side is the side you print on.) - The corners are almost always bent in the package. The outer casing (black box) looks fine. But there's usually one corner where they all got smushed. I'm assuming it's from loading them into boxes or something and how they toss them around. ... show more

  • Impressive
Size: 8.5" x 11" 20 sheets
I love reading reviews, hate to write them...but this paper really is (in my opinion) impressive. It ain't cheap, but when you are wanting to produce nice quality giclee prints that are archival, museum quality of either artwork or photography as I am...is it not worth a little more in paper cost?!! I print on a canon pixma markII 9500 which uses pigment "ink". Beautiful results. Melissa paintedtulipstudio.etsy CORRECT PRINT SIDE: Very lightly touch a corner with moistened fingertips. The side that is "tacky" is the correct print side. ... show more

  • difficult to tell which side to print on
Size: 8.5" x 11" 20 sheets
I have no issues with the print quality of this paper. I just wish the manufacturer would put a watermark or something on the non printing side of the paper. The packaging just indicates to use the "smoother" side for printing, but it is beyond my perceptive abilities to determine which side is smoother. In bright sunlight, I think you can see a slight brightness shift between the 2 sides... but I am really not sure. It is kind of pricey to just be running a test print to see if one side actually prints better. I have done 3 prints, and they all look great, so i believe I chose the correct side. ... show more
