The sponge took over night to fully “inflate”. But I’ve used it wet and dry on my dogs and horses and I love it. It’s gentle when it’s wet for cleaning my horses faces, and dry it dusts off caked on mug after rain. I also use it damp to get surface dust off of a freshly groomed horse.
