  • Ya know? I like this lil' adora-keeb.
This will be over the BROWN Tactile switch model. (edit, altered from 4 to 5 stars. taking away a star over a manual just felt... unfair.) Thing to note, there is NO English manual. You can find guides online and rough translations, but a manual doesn't exist for this keeb. ======================================================================================= Someone I know actually ended up helping me to get this and I gotta say. Even if they hadn't but I had the same experience with it as I do now. I can say that yeah, I would actually buy this little keeb again. The price seems a bit steep initially but as far as I have been able to tell it's well justified. The looks of the subbed caps are the very first thing to reach up and snatch your attention from anything else. Yes, even the BRIGHT pink, plastic case. Simple white caps, dye subbed in a pink just a bit more lush looking than the case, with an albeit semi large font to it that has been quite emboldened. Even on the keys with modifiers dyed onto them, or keys with actual words on them. They still manage to not only make the characters easily visible, they are likewise also quite legible and neutral in terms of aesthetics. Nothing hardcore gamery or even super girly/frilly with the font. Which honestly? I feel like it allows you to keep your attention on the parts that more or less matter with the looks of this keeb. The artsy bits that are intended to be artsy. I've found a home for just about all of the artsy caps and I am quite happy with where I have been able to put them. It alters the layout a bit but... eh we all make saccrifices. Except for me, I'm just weird. Now all that lovely fluff being said, I'm a dude with a gnarly beard, and not someone you'd expect to see toting this about. I won't lie, it does indeed make it harder to steal, unless you're surrounded by the type that just get down with these looks and are green with envy. But being a big ol' burly, beardo, I am honestly pretty hard on my stuff. So I am quite happy to say that the looks aren't the only thing that really shine with this product. There is rather minimal deck flex to this, almost in spite of the plastic case to be honest. It has almost a satisfying level of heft to it, you know you're carrying something but it's not so much that it's distracting or cumbersome. On the flip side, like I said. You know you're carrying something around, which translates to it also not really having that much of an issue with wanting to travel while you clickity clack away. The rubber or silicone feet on the underside help to make sure this little keeb doesn't stray too far from the place it was set upon. Unless it's your lap, in which case yer outta luck there to be honest with you. Speaking of the underside and it not moving, I am also happy to report that the TWO, yes 2, stage height adjustment feet snap satisfyingly into place. They STAY in place, along with making sure the keeb likewise stays where you put it whilst using said adjustment feet. The sound of the baord is honestly not all that bad, given I got the brown switches. I figure if I really wanted to piss people off at a coffee shop or where have you... well I could do that through other methods, rather than my clicky keeb. So tactile switch it is! They feel about as one would expect to be honest. Not the best tactile switch out there, they're nothing compared to my Oreos. But given the cost and what all this board provides? The fact that they're actual Cherry switches (as far as I can tell so far) s a pretty big plus. I have nothing against the competition but it does offer a sense of solidarity for those that aren't into the crazy stuff you can find in the world of the KEEB! So the switches feel about how one would expect, right? How 'bout dem caps? Well? Think of a matte finnished paint job on something and then sand it down to be just a hush under polished. And that would be about how these caps feel. The dye subbing was well done and I can only BARELY feel the dye if I am just trying to get at that sensation. Which, as far as I know is a good thing and about how it should be. I can't speak for longevity as I've not owned the board for all that long. But I do enjoy the way the caps feel and look. Their profile is jsut about right for me to be honest. So that's always a plus, given it's a fairly standard profile as far as I can tell. The battery life seems to be about what they advertise. Having not really charged it all that much and to still see it going as strong as it is now, well it impresses me. I had to look up, using google magic, how the heck I could even use this wirelessly! The usb C cable and socket works just fine, albeit needing a somewhat longer head to it than I had expected. The color matched cable and additional keycaps, and matching cap puller were a delight. But they don't make up for the manual being not in english anywhere. They don't make up for it kind of being a pain in the butt to pair initially if you don't know what you're doing. But that being said, I was able to get it to pair. Allowed it to sleep and then turned it on with a few clicks of the keys and it was ready to go! Super fast, didn't need me to repair it, even after turning the entire unit off on the switch located at the underside. BT function works rather great, I'm beyond impressed about that to be honest. Super consistent and doesn't bug out when you use it over usb-c to your various hard line devices. So really my only complaint is the manual and lack of being able to find ANYTHING (from AKKO) unless you try hard enough. Even then it's still not in... well English. But some vids and a quick step by step guide can be found easily enough. Oh, and there's no software whatsoever for just about anything AKKO. All in all, a great product, I see why it has garnered the respect that it has in the keeb community. I would totally buy it again... but maybe in a different color.... not sure. I believe I have really covered it all here. It's a reasonable deal, for a good layout, good design, impressive quality given it looks cheap in the pictures. I'd say give 'er a go if you've been looking into one. Just bear in mind you will have to do a rather quick google search to figure out how to use it wirelessly over bluetooth. I will update this review if something good or bad goes down. I hoped my words helped you out at least a little bit. ... show more

  • Really nice
I waited really long but honestly when I got it u was so happy. It's really nice to type on and not exceptionally loud either and it's cute so like 10/10 Only downside was the wait but it's now on prime so that shouldn't be a problem and the sellers really nice

  • Cute and capable
Update: I contacted Epomaker to get support on the keyboard not working in wired mode on startup and having to switch from BT mode every time. They gave me incomplete instructions that I figured out for myself. Didn't work. The problem still exists. I followed up with them but haven't heard back. Knocking off one star for the poor support. Expect to be on your own if you have problems with this board after 30 days. This will be a shorter review since Amazon deleted my last for including a hyperlink to English instructions. This is my first 75% keyboard. Nice compact layout although I think I still prefer TKL (80%). I got this with Cherry MX Browns which I like as a light tactile switch. I'm not personally a fan of Cherry MX Blues for clicky switches. I prefer kailh box whites. Pros: 1. Very attractive PBT Dye-Sub keycaps. 2. Compact 75% form factor is a nice option for those who want to hang on to their function keys. 3. Bluetooth connectivity. 4. Lots of fun accent keycaps included. 5. Mostly types very nicely. Just one complaint outlined below. Cons: 1. There's some ping coming from the spacebar but it's hardly terrible. I hardly ever notice it unless I'm really hitting it hard. Much less than a Corsair K95 Platinum XT but more than my Varmilo, GMMK, and Ducky. 2. The light indicating a "wired connection" under the tab key looks bad, too bright, out of place. I may do something about that. 3. Every power on the keyboard reverts to Bluetooth by default. You have to then switch it to wired by holding Fn+tab for three seconds. 4. No English instructions which could really bother someone impacted by #3. Unplugging and replugging the keyboard back in also puts it back into wired mode. Overall this is a really nice keyboard especially if you like the aesthetic. I posted an image of English translated instructions with this review. ... show more

  • Perfect configuration, quality switches, quality caps, great size, cute AF.
Going from Kailh switches with the standard plastic keycaps to this genuine Cherry switch and much better caps was a huge improvement. The spacebar on my last mechanical keyboard started double-tapping itself, this one I feel like will never have that issue. It feels so much more solid! Beyond the quality, the size is perfect. It's way more compact than other keyboards without sacrificing the functions. I love the extra mouse space I get from this size, a very easy trade off of lacking a numpad. I don't even miss the numpad! Also, this keyboard is FREAKING ADORABLE. Does it match my red/black with purple LED light hue across my desktop battle station? Not at all. I did swap the Function (F1-F12) keys out for black ones, along with the home/pg-up/pg-dwn/end, and the arrow keys for some black keycaps and made it kinda a black-border, white center, floral pink accent board. I like how it looked before and I love how it looks and feels now. Even putting looks and size aside, it feels so great and solidly build with extremely satisfying keypresses that it's a pure joy to type on. I absolutely love this keyboard! :) Oh, also, some mechanical keyboards have weird key heights/layouts/"comfort" formats... this one's just very natural feeling and easy to type on. Do yourself a favor and just pick it up, you won't regret it. PS- I'll update my review if it starts to break or anything, since I expect it to last a long time. PPS- Invert the spacebar, try it for a few days, you'll thank me. ... show more
