  • You can't beat it for the price
Color: Heritage Cherry Sunburst
This is a Les Paul Classic. Period. Getting it from Epiphone just means you're paying one third to one fourth the price. You get all the goodies - Grover tuners, zebra humbuckers, push/pull pots for splitting the coils and inverting the phase, a great finish, and the sound is awesome. About the only missing feature is the push/pull pot for direct bridge output. Oh well. For $600, I'm not going to complain. One word of warning - this is a heavy guitar. If you don't like a heavy guitar, this might not be the guitar for you. ... show more

  • Love it.
Color: Ebony
Love the form factor on this guitar. It's comfortable in the lab. Easy to wrap your arms around and play. But if you're sitting down. You might want to think about where you have to plug it in on the guitars body. It's a little heavy, but I like that. It feels solid. The black looks really classy. Especially with its white pickguard. Love how light reflects off of its curved body. ... show more

  • Amazing Guitar
Color: Ebony
This is my new favorite guitar! It's easy to play, the sound is crisp, the style is amazing, and it's perfect for the stage or just the home studio.

Beautiful guitar and well worth the money! Yeah Wilkinson tuners but the Grovers are probably low end cheap too. Have realistic expectations people. What it lacks, craftsmanship and finish make up for it. It’s not a $2,500 Gibson. I think I’ll get the black one too!

  • A few problems but nothing too big
Color: Ebony
TL;DR; Out of the box it came with a broken pickup switch (now fixed in mid position) and had a few loose gears. Other than that it was in excellent condition. The guitar came in two boxes, the exterior box which had some cardboard strips inside to prevent the second box from moving while delivering it, and the second box which is the actual box the guitar comes in, this second box was not secured so it was half lifted when I unboxed it which may have caused the issue with my broken pickup switch (I guess the up and down movement broke it while it was being delivered), another thing I noticed is that some of the gears (the one that holds the pickup switch and the one that holds the output jack) came as if they were tighten with your fingers. Aside from that, the guitar came in excellent condition, no scratches, it had just a little bit of dust and the strings came ready to play after some minor tuning, the tuning pegs feel really good and require little effort to adjust. I wouldn't recommend this guitar for a beginner however, the body is not very ergonomic, and the neck dive is quite heavy, also is a little uncomfortable to play while sitting since the output jack is at the bottom of the guitar, but you should be fine if you can find something to light your feet from the ground. ... show more
