This is a beautiful, sturdy spoon, but the leading edge doesn’t taper. It’s thick and it doesn’t cut easily through a pot of freshly cooked rice. It’s moisture-resistant and the finish stays on ever when I leave it in the rice pot overnight, but it’s just kind of clumsy as a rice serving spoon.
