The connector came in a Plastic Bag I wouldve expected at least a box. its the solder in type, but connecting it is a little hard to couple and requires some wiggle. Havent tested its waterproof capabilities but time will be the best test for this. In the end, aluminum housing is a little cheap and matte finish, the connectors look good but a little hard to couple but other than those it is quite nice and all the pins have a solid connection.

I thought these were going to be a perfect solution's for my setup, given that the description and the drawings show that they can take 14 gauge wire. It is still possible that I’m a dum dum and don’t know how to interpret the drawings. Either way they most definitely do not take 14 gauge. I can’t even get 16 gauge to fit. You might get away with just soldering the wire to barely touch the tip of the cup, but that’s way too janky for my situation. It’s pretty disappointing because they seem nice enough for the price. If your application only needs 18 gauge or smaller wires, then it’s worth looking into.

This connector is a cheap reverse-engineered clone of an amphenol connector, which is both good and bad. Its a simple but easy to use connector and design, and it does close securely and easily. I'm not gonna trust it on anything that's actually going to fly, or need a weatherproof connection, but for prototyping or adding a sturdy connector with a useful pinout to a semi-rugged platform it would work nicely! Continuity through the connector is quite good when its fully engaged, and it's offered in a few well designed pin configurations.
