Description

Color:Clear Envirotex lite is a reactive polymer compound. It cures to a thick, glossy coating in about 8-hour at 70-Degree f, and reaches full strength and toughness in about 72-hour. This durable, resilient material requires no polishing to produce a high gloss. One coat is all that is usually required for a deep attractive finish. However, two or more coats maybe applied one over the other by simply wiping the surface with a clean cloth and alcohol prior to recoating. Envirotex lite may be used on wood, fabric, decals, bisque, photos, paper, metal, models, painted surfaces, dried flowers, plaster, rocks, sea shells, bread dough, styrofoam, and more. Item is non- returnable.

  • the results were excellent. If you follow the mixing directions
Color: Clear
I used this on a bathroom counter top over some "granite effect" spray paint, the results were excellent. If you follow the mixing directions, you should have no trouble with it setting up. There are plenty of YouTube tutorials on application, watch a few of those before using. If you are using this on something that will require it to drip over the edge for coverage, be sure to cover EVERYTHING. It will flow a lot more than you expect it to. If you need to tape anything off, remove the tape about 3 hours after application; a piece of advice I did not heed and had some trouble getting the tape removed when I went to take it off 12 hours later. One word of caution, buy more than you think you will need. The estimated coverage listed on the box is not totally accurate. The coverage listed for the 16oz is 4 sqft, and I used every drop of the kit on a very small counter top thats a shade under 4 sqft. It's worth it to have the extra on hand in case you need it, rather than be left with an uneven surface because you ran out. ... show more

  • Don't be scared, just try it.
Color: Clear
I was terrified to try any epoxy product over my beautiful project. I read about all the horror stories of it not setting up or people not ordering enough and making a mess for themselves... I cannot believe I did this!!! I sealed a wooden farmhouse style counter top. I left live edges on my wood, this stuff worked so amazing! I stirred it up in a kids beach bucket with a wooden paint stick. I applied it but pouring and then spread it with a paint brush. It cued up over night!!! I'm so pleased with this product!!!! Thank you!!! ... show more

  • Made my first experience with resin awesome
Color: Clear
Before making these coasters I had never worked with resin. I have to say that it far surpassed my expectation. The advise I would give is to read the directions (all of them), twice if your like me, and do exactly what they say. Do that on a project that it can feasibly do and this product will impress you (in my very very limited experience) ... show more

  • the tiles look like there is a layer of beautiful glass on top
Color: Clear
I use this on 4x4" tiles as coasters and they turned out PERFECTLY!!! Very professional looking. I will be purchasing more. As the epoxy cures, the tiles look like there is a layer of beautiful glass on top. There is NO staining, NO sticking, and NO discoloration of the tiles. This is the best product to give your tiles a long-lasting finish. (I have used Modpodge in the past and it discolored -turned yellow- over time, the tiles stuck to the bottom of my glass, and tea or kool-aid stained it). ... show more

  • Great stuff. I'm a frequent buyer
Color: Clear
I use this stuff all the time for small woodturning projects mostly. I turn vases for my dearly beloved and use this product to make the inside waterproof. It works very well for a couple of reasons: 1. It completely seals the wood, period. Absolutely, if used correctly. 2. It provides a smooth finish for the interior and means I don't have to sand like a madman to get a nice final finish. So I just sand interiors to about 120 grit or so, which seems to provide a good substrate for this product, and then after mixing, pour it in and rotate the vessel until it is well coated. Let it dry for a few days in my case and add flowers and water. Result: a very happy lady. A few helpful pointers here (I have learned the hard way): 1. have all your materials ready and the workpiece in position 2. use PRECISE measurements of equal parts. Don't weigh it, measure it (as the instructions say) 3. I use disposable plastic cups like the little Dixie bathroom cups (it only takes a couple ounces for a vase, usually) 4. popsicle sticks (craft sticks, etc) make a great mixing tool and they are cheap 5. mix until your arm is tired. :-D Scrape the sides of the mixing vessel frequently 6. pour and leave it alone. other than blowing on the surface to remove bubbles, don't poke around at it. you'll be glad you didn't. ... show more

  • DYI Beautiful!
Color: Clear
Bought these to coat homemade drink coasters I made from Lowe’s ceramic tiles and sharpie. This coated it perfectly! Not sticky when dried and completely waterproof. Was fairly easy to use, has clear instructions. Made four tiles and used about half of the containers. I set my tiles up on Dixie cups and poured this over. Set well over a 24-48 hour period. You also need a disposable mixing cup with straight sides and flat tongue depressors for stir sticks to mix this combination. ... show more

  • Great resin for newbies and the experience caster.
Color: Clear
For me it's a toss-up between this brand and easy they both are easy ratio of 1 to 1 and the bubbles come out very easily with a quick blast from a blow dryer. Cures nice and hard as well as shiny as glass with no yellowing. Would highly recommend especially for beginners who are a bit intimidated.

  • Glossy and easy to use
Color: Clear
Directions were easy to follow, the resin hardened perfectly, it's very clear and glossy. I really loved using the blow dryer to pop the air bubbles. I could watch that all day, lol. No crazy fumes either.
