I think the headline pretty much gives you the picture. This stuff is phenomenally delicious. I love the green pepper undertones and the black peppery bite at the end. I can’t imagine that the bottle will make it even a full week because I can’t stop eating it. It’s so damn good that all you need is some fresh bread and the oil, and you’ve got yourself an antioxidant-rich, satisfying meal. If you add some cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and pasture-raised buffalo mozzarella then you’ll be in straight culinary heaven. With that said, I will say that the black bottle from PJ Kabos is a better value for the money. It’s just as potent - maybe even more to be honest - but you get double the liquid for about the same price. It’s slightly less complex in terms of flavor compared to this stuff but it’s still a better value overall. UPDATE (May 2024): I’ve purchased it twice more since I wrote the above - this time in the bigger size bottles - and I’ve also tasted other EVOOs within the same time period and none of them can hold a candle to the Entimio. The problem is that it tastes so damn good that I killed both bottles really, really quickly (like I did the first mini-bottle) and the stuff isn’t exactly cheap. Hence why I’ve also experimented with other EVOOs but I’m addicted to Entimio at this point. It’s like the crack of Olive Oil. One drizzle and you’re going down a dangerous path of addiction. Dangerous for your wallet but good for your health.

This olive oil has amazing flavor. It tastes like you took green olives from the tree and squeezed the oil straight into your mouth. The bottle is high quality and the packaging is top notch. It's packaged so well that it will safely get to you. Most of the packaging is cardboard, so it's biodegradable. There is some plastic wrap over the bottle/inside, which I'm sure is in case something happened to cause leakage. My favorite blend is the intense, but since it's early harvest, when it's out of stock, I also buy the Cortense, which I also really like a lot.

I’ve tried two of the three oils in the collection. Both were excellent in flavor and richness. The first one Destinto on an avocado toast. What a great dimension it brought to the party. The second one Cortese I used on some grilled vegetables, zucchini and yellow squash. Amazing flavors!! Can’t wait to try the Intenso!! The additional flavors are phenomenal additions to my liking and I highly recommend them.

I have been on a quest to discover the best EVOO. I fell into the fallacy that if it costs more, it must be better. This Entimio Intenso costs more, but it is not better than others that cost less. The great variety of prices for what is basically the same high end EVOO amazes me. This oil cost $15 more the the Olio Italiano by WellEatable, but it is no better and maybe a little worse. It is not green in color despite the reviews. I have tried many others (Garisar (Turkish), Classico (also WellEatable, but a bit more expensive), Prunetti (very good but costs $10 more), Virgeen ( more expensive but not that good). I have not tried oil from Sicily, Morocco, or Greece, but I would be open to any recommendations, however, I am dubious that they would be any better than the Olio Italiano.

Fine Olive Oil from Italy is always going to be a little expansive, so I don't mind, but the taste is great and a couple teaspoons in the morning does me good! I noticed with high quality olive oil, some days it tases like grass, then another day it's spicy peppery, not sure why the same live oil can switch like that, doesn't bother me though. Great product!
