It’s convenient to have a set of bits ready to go whenever I need to use a drill or driver. I typically leave a couple of pilot hole drill bits and various driver bits loaded and ready to go. I store them near my tool rack, on a hook next to the drills and drivers, and grab them for quick jobs. If you consistently reattach the bits after every use, you won’t find yourself constantly losing them, or scrambling to locate them in the middle of a job. They hold the birds quite securely.
