Happy with this desk - I purchased the 47" in Walnut Black as an extension for my current desk when I got a work from home job. My current desk wasn't large enough to support everything I needed. The color of the wood itself is really pretty but like a few others, it came with a small chip on the corner - very small, about the size of a fingernail (you can see it in the photo, righthand corner). Didn't bother me much. It was relatively simple to put together - I'm not too savvy when it comes to building anything but I was able to do it in 30-45 minutes. The instructions were a bit unclear so I did have to undo and redo a few things. It did take a bit of effort to get screws in some areas but I managed and it came together nicely. Purchased this desk for my teen son. It took about 30 minutes to put it together. No surprises, just straight forward if you follow instructions and match the letters that are on every piece. Even the bag of screws has letters to show you what to use. Hex tool included and that's all you need. I used a wrench to tighten the few nuts that need to be installed. The desk is good quality and sturdy. Nice space and good storage shelves which are adjustable. You can make them evenly spaced or if you want to put in a pc tower or larger item on the bottom, you can adjust height. Worth the price for a simple desk. The only thing you need to watch out for (if it matters to you) is that if you follow the instructions without reading through you will be putting together the desk with the shelves on the left side. Go to the back of the book to see instructions for the right side shelve installation. Otherwise you have to almost start over. ... show more

The assembly process was hard because i'm too strong. The screwdriver that came with the package got rounded off and the screws just wouldn't get screwed or something, because the once hexagonal screwdriver became a circular. When you're assembling this thing, make sure to not tighten the screws too much, make sure that it's just secure in its place. Once all the pieces of the table are in place, tighten it the rest of the way. Anyway, the table's really good, fits in my nyc apartment (size: stereotypical). I'm not sure if the table's really good for gaming or anything, it has metal legs and a wooden tabletop, the wood looks nice and feels smooth. No splinters on me yet. Also, you can trust this review, because i've had this table hold my computer for about 4 months now, seems to hold really well so far. ... show more

It went together easily, took about an 1 1/2 hours, all parts were included. The product arrived undamaged. It's very sturdy and the 47" desk has a spacious work surface, It's darker than in the photo on line which I was very happy about. I recommend it.
