Have for 24 hrs been loving it for myself and baby Huge music variety from classical, nursery, 50’s, hymns, xmas, etc. Have not timed it but runs over hour and will shut off on own then few seconds the mobile will turn off which is great since I didnt see anything if it has auto shutoff. Remote is nothing desirable, need to be a foot away for it to work but since auto shutoff its fine. Manually turn on and make adjustments. If you do not want music just lower the sound to off.

So pros and cons to this music box. It does what a music box is supposed to, it plays music and spins your mobile, while being really cost effective. It's also got an adorable design. The biggest cons being the battery life is not really great, but I'm also not great at turning it off so 50/50 on that. Plus the battery case lid is a bit annoying to screw back on. The other thing is the light show is a bit on the dimmer side. Not a huge deal if you're using it on pitch darkness, but still not as bright as I'd like. The best part of this, - the music variety. We have your classics, nursery rhymes and the like, but also some holiday favorites. Then the surprises start! Song that very much resemble everything from Soft Kitty and swan lake, to Can you feel the love tonight and even a few from anime, like Laputa! It was definitely a humorous surprise!

I love the fact that the volume is adjustable on this - so that when my baby is laying in his pack in play he can still hear the music and it grabs his attention even though it's so much on top of his head. It comes with a remote control which I honestly don't use - the idea is cool but my baby isn't that far from me - and I generally turn it on when I'm putting him down in any case. It also projects light but we don't use that feature much as I mostly use it during the daytime when the lights are all open. It's engaging, the hanging toys from it are great - I can pull them off and give them to my baby to teethe on, it was fairly simple to assemble - and even came with a screw driver which made putting the batteries in a breeze. We're really enjoying it!

We bought 3 of these toys as we have 3 infants, and 2 of the 3 are broken in 3 months of use. The quality is terrible. I would recommend you do not purchase this item.

It's a very nice item but I believe that it's not what I asked for. The product didn't explain that it was made for infants and not toddler to two years of age. It's not going to work for the intention that it was purchased for.
