  • Not too complicated replacement cooler
Size: 120 Style: LIQMAX III Color: LMT120 BASIC - BLACK
ASRock 4.7 Ghz AMD 990FX was and still is cool. The 8-core can burn through single radiator cooler systems. Someone who sold me this system did not provide a large enough tower case a number of years ago when I bought it. It does not look like the case can fit a double radiator with the motherboard. I have decided not to care about that. This is the 3rd time I have had a cooler in the 990FX. The first cooler was Antec and that came with the computer and burned out in about 2 years. I replaced it with Enermax. Now it was running hot again and this particular computer does run real hot when the processor is at 4.7Ghz and I predicted that a replacement liquid cooler could prevent the overheating I was having or extend time use. I bought another one of these Enermax coolers. It was easy to get the same cooler because I didn't have to take the whole computer apart again. I didn't have to put the fitter under the motherboard. I did not have to remove the motherboard. I would gladly do that if I had no choice, but I could not resist the convenience of buying the same cooler. I changed this cooler this time in about 2 hours. After the heating problem, I had adjusted the processor to run at 70% on idle and no higher than 80% when writing a movie, and the computer was running at over 20 degrees Celsius on idle. Now it is running at 2 degrees Celsius on idle, and clearly cooler on movie writes. If the temperature goes over 70 Celsius, the computer will eventually turn itself off because it is not happy. And I was not happy because I knew the computer was at risk of overheating. I was not sure if a new cooler would fix the problem, but it looks like it has already improved the computer health. I have provided positive points for this product which I think it deserves. I could now reset the processor back to run at 100% but I do not need full speed for everything. To change the processor max in min speed, I do that with Windows control panels at power options. I may be able to have a longer lasting cooler system if I limit the processor speed more often. The Enermax cooler does a pretty nice job and it is affordable. Flashing lights does not matter to me. It could be a distraction. There's nothing wrong with this liquid cooler. I like the way it is versatile to fit on various computers. ... show more

  • Amazed...
Size: 120 Style: LIQMAX III Color: LMT120 BASIC - BLACK
At this price point... easy installation onto a older amd3+. Got Temps ridiculous low. Only issue is the tubes from pcu to radiator is a bit close to my side fan on case. All in all, I can't imagine this being any better, it's perfect for a cheap build and overlooking my older chip. Sorta amazing the temp differences as well. Which has offsetting benefits to entire case, my mobo.. my graphics cards, my other fans, all are much much lower Celsius too. And even running the pc for hrs on end, it won't quit. This thing is a secret beast, and so damn cheap. ... show more

  • Looks and performs great
Size: 360 Style: LIQMAX III Color: LMT360 ARGB - BLACK
After seeing all the issues with the Liqtech series gunk problem, I was hesitant to purchase this AIO. But at $80 for the ARGB 360 model and a 5 yr warranty, it was worth for me to take a chance. The product looks great and performs well. Able to cool my Ryzen 5900X, at full load around 68C. It is also decently quiet, but can get loud when the fans and pump RPMs speed up. I did have one issue with a fan though. One of the lamps failed and wasn't able to display the correct color. I contacted Enermax support, and they were prompt to respond. They sent a replacement fan with return label in the package. However, the replacement fan had scratches and scuff marks, clearly a used/refurbished unit, but it did work just fine. I've only has this product for 2 weeks and was expecting to get a replacement in new condition, so a bit of disappointment here. The 5V 3-pin connectors on the fans are also extremely loose. They fall out very easily and have a hard time making full contact even after taping the connectors together. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase, but the longevity of the pump and fans is still in question. Only time will tell. ... show more
