My 6 year old cannot get enough of this toy. It’s been a month and it’s still working great. There is very visible “vapor” that comes out and it’s easy enough for him to refill with water on his own. I was concerned about heat but it’s ice cold (from the freezer) air. This is a super safe toy with really awesome vapor effects. The repetitive loud sounds it makes was getting on my nerves, but then we read the directions and you can switch it off and on, so I can get a break from “3-2-1 liftoff”. Such a fun and inexpensive toy! Got for my 3 yo, he loved it! By just adding a few drops of water, the rocket looked like it was really blasting off! Another great part is that when the rocket lands *sits straight up* a voice from someone at nasa mentions the landing. And when you pick it up again, it talks about blast off.     • Astronaut falls apart too easily, but the rest of it is durable and playable
love this. Thought it broke at first- didn't work for a few days but it bounced back. Love how realistic the sounds are and the steam comes out of the back realistically. Durable. What I dont love is the tiny astronaut. It falls apart too easily.

I bought this for my child's birthday in mid August. It worked great until today, almost exactly two months later. It made steam. It had fun sounds and noises. We did lose an astronaut's arm, but I expect toys to get used. This thing fully died today. I replaced the batteries, trying two different brands, and it will not turn on.
