Description

Long ago, in the distant reaches of Land's End, the unforeseen descent of the "Rain" transformed all living things into frenzied undead monstrosities known as the Blighted. I've recently been playing many Metroidvania games (Hollow Knight, Blasphemous, and Tails of Iron most recently) and want to keep that going. After multiple searches online to find another, I eventually saw this game and watched the video gameplay. It looked good so I decided to get it. I'm so glad I did as it is an extremely fun game. Typical maneuvering controls (double jump, dash, wall climbing and other) to the genre. Great story, gameplay, sound and most importantly very fun. There is back tracking to get additional items for extended play time. Bosses aren't too difficult, but can be challenging. Definitely recommend. ... show more

Have not finished it yet but it is very challenging for a very casual gamer like myself. The art style is absolutely stunning. I would give it 10 stars if I could so far, and hope they have a sequel at some point. I dont know how this game does not have more reviews, its phenomenal.

I own the digital version of this game on the Switch, and if you enjoy 2d platformers and dark fantasy mystery stories (such as Dark Souls) this game is definitely worth your time. The music skillfully sets the mood for every location and boss encounter in the game; together with the paint/style pixel art, it really serves to immerse the player in the bleak and unforgiving world of the game. This game is amazing. The music is stunningly beautiful, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is fun yet challenging, and the story is dark and interesting. It's now one of my all time favorite games. Definitely recommend playing this gem of an indie game. If I could give it more than five stars, I would. I will mention that I didn't purchase this game on Amazon, but from a different online shop last year since I could not find the physical game anywhere else at the time. ... show more
