Quality is such a nice surprise these days! These are so well made and super handy for tasks when a large board is overkill. I use them for sandwiches, fruit, toast and anything else that requires a little prep. Keeps cutting and goop off the counters. You never find the liquid grooves on the smaller boards but these have them and it comes in handy for pickles, pineapple etc! Super easy to clean and they are beautiful. Mine came with a little surprise in the box, a small wooden board with a coffee cup design and small carved keychain. These are perfect for everyday use and I highly recommend. When I see (approx) 11" x 7" x .8" that equals a rectangle size, but I the description of what I got says I ordered round cutting boards, which I did not intend. So, just thought I'd point that out in case you get something different than what you intended to order. These are good medium sized boards. Great for smaller pieces of meat or smaller vegetable chopping. I'm cutting things up all day, so a variety of board size works for me and I like this size for certain things. The boards are pretty. I like the stain. They are sturdy and made well. I recommend these boards for medium sized cutting/slicing/shopping. ... show more

The pictures don't do justice to how attractive these are--they are beautiful to look at. Not sure how laminated wood holds up in a dishwasher, but I always hand wash and these are of a quality that suggests they should last a long time. They are smaller cutting boards than I usually get--easy not to realize the size when ordering, but I do like having this size on hand. Perfect for prepping vegetables (except larger leafy ones), cooking for 2, or making a quick sandwich. These would be a great choice for an RV with limited counter/storage space. They even have a moat for catching juices/liquids. They come neatly wrapped individually in paper--a set of 2 is perfect for sharing. ... show more

So these are definitely on the smaller side of cutting boards (luckily they give you 2!) But they are very solid and very smooth. The juice grooves are pronounced enough to be useful. These won't be useful for things like rolling out doughs but if you need to chop some vegetables these are perfect, just one vegetable at a time. They also included 2 little free gifts which are adorable. These are exactly as described. I was able to wash these in the sink easily and dry well. A little mineral oil treatment now and then to keep them in good condition. ... show more

These cutting boards are perfect for an onion and tomato and garlic clove! I also was amazed at the smooth silky texture of the wood. it is beautiful enough to use as a charcutier board and sturdy enough to use as a cutting board. Simply in love with these boards. And I appreciate the no leak aspect with its border. It washes well and feels wonderful the next day too! I was really impressed with the thickness and the quality. This is a very beautiful cutting board the craftsmanship is absolutely the best I have ever seen. I have had many wood cutting boards but none never this well crafted and made of good materials. I will be taking extra care of this boards, it comes with 2 small cutting boards which is great cause I can keep one for cheese and one for fruits. I might even use them as serving boards for my parties. That's the only problem I had is that they are small but I can still work with them.
