Replaced an old 25 inch Whirlpool wall oven with this one. It turns out, that the major manufacturers no longer make 25" ovens, so I needed to purchase a 24" model. Impressed with the deign, but owner's manual woefully inadequate, as others have stated. Figuring how to use it is simply trial and error. Rotisserie skewer included, but not usable for this model; no big deal. Wiring instructions also a bit confusing, until I read a label on top that stated to not connect the white wire from the power, only the red, black and ground. Since the white and ground wires are basically the same, I capped off the white wire. Also, using the wiring cable included, I installed a junction box to house where the power and oven cables connect and everything works well. So far so good- does the job. ... show more

We have had a heck of a time finding this size oven to replace the old in-wall unit. Our new unit came in great shape with no issues. The price is amazing and all in all a great buy. We installed it in about 25 minutes with no problem. The first time heating took a bit (I always heat the first time empty to burn off manufacturing chemicals etc.) but after that it heats fast and evenly. Yes, the unit has a timer knob but if you don't want timed heat you simply turn the knob to the "hand" which is counter clockwise, not rocket science folks. I cook 6 nights a week and bake frequently, this unit is easy to use. The indicator lights fade as the oven cools which I thought a nice feature. We have zero complaints with this unit.     • Doesnโ€™t hold heat
First one arrived damamged. Since having the electrician install it, Iโ€™ve ruined so many meals/baking recipes trying to figure this oven out. I set it to 350, it will sit at 330. I increased the heat to 360 the next time and it only sits at 340. Iโ€™ve had food come out severely undercooked. I have no idea how long to bake anything for.. and with it being a 24โ€ (all that fits in our opening) just be aware none of the standard pans fit. Would not recommend. ... show more

Everything works fine except that one of the control knob was damaged on arrival, but empava customer service is helpful. They have sent the knob replacement. Would have left a 5 star if the knob wasn't broken. Overall, this is a great oven.

The packaging was very well designed and I received it with no issue. In terms of quality, it works perfectly. I like the fact it has a default time of 2 hours unless you adjust it. I'm the kind person that tends to forget things a lot so that function really helps with the safety issue.

I loved the price, but as usual you get what you pay for. It's a nice oven, but has it's cheap moments. I may not have the electronic panel to worry about, but the door is getting off of track and it's a little smaller than a normal oven.
